I don't think we open up in Top 25.

BUT....I do think that we come into the Oklahoma game in the Top 25. Not sure if thats a good thing or not.

not sure what the grade of a "D" means at the end of the article.

'Story of the game : This was a first-round knockout. Don't pay any attention to the final score. Tennessee came out and scored touchdowns on six of its first eight possessions to take a 42-7 lead on Iowa midway through the third quarter (the Vols led 35-7 at halftime) and then, like a sprinter with a huge lead on the rest of the field, just coasted to the finish line from there. Whether it was quarterback Joshua Dobb, running back Jalen Hurd, or a Tennessee defense that stifled the Iowa offense for most of the game, the Hawkeyes simply did not have an answer.'

Love it

I'd be willing to bet we get serious Top 25 preseason consideration coming this fall. I'd almost guarantee it.

After only playing one game against Bowling Green?!

Possibly. I think we'll be just outside of the Top 25, and if we make a strong enough statement, and some overrated people lose first week, I think it's a possibility.

Of course, beat Oklahoma, and we're no brainers.

No way we open in the top 25. That doesn't matter the sky's the limit with this team.GBO!!

I don't want to, but I expect we will, we are a team on the rise and a lot of teams that would be in that 15 to 25 spots have looked like crap in the bowl season

I could see the Vols predicted to finish third in the East behind Georgia and Mizzou including a top 25 preseason ranking with all the starters they return. 8-4 should be attainable next season.

Hope you're right.
