CBS Sports Bowl Projection.....

I think Miami will be matched against UGA somewhere, huge storyline.

Not likely. Neither are going to make it to the Citrus Bowl.

UGA is out of consideration for the Taxslayer Bowl.

The Music City Bowl pretty much has to take a Big 10 team this year.

And Miami likely wouldn't fall all the way to the Belk Bowl (not to mention UGA was just there in 2014).

After that, out of ACC-SEC matchups.

That last one's pretty much the only chance this year and I don't think the likelihood is terrible high on it.

It's a bad bowl. 104.5 was trying to talk it up based solely on Nashville being a great city to visit. Homerisn crap. We should be Sugar Bowling

All the bowls (money wise) that we are in for are practically the same. Might as well stay close.

I should be married to Margot Robbie, watching her walk around my mansion naked everday with Warren Buffets bank account. That ain't happening and we arent going to the Sugar Bowl. We need to get over it.

I go to practically every UT sporting event in Nashville not at vandy. I've been to every UT basketball game in Bridgestone, every game football has played at Nissan.

I am sad to say I probably won't go if they play in MCB. Just tired of watching Shoop defense.

Personally, I think we're going to a bowl game against a Big 10 team. More than likely either Indiana or Minnesota. I think the Music City Bowl or the Belk Bowl would be the choices. We can beat either one of those teams.

Remember how we killed Northwestern last years bowl game 45-6? I think the score against either one of these teams could be close to that bad. We are much better than both those teams in my opinion.

I still think Outback is where it'll be. Why wouldn't they want us back with out turnout last year?

almost assuredly the turnout won't be nearly the same as last year. Last year was the best bowl TN made in years. Also, like Herbstriet recently said the TN fan base is STARVED. Going back to the Outback, while still good, will be a disappointment for most fans.

My prediction is still Music City unless FL gets significantly embarrassed Sat against Bama and the Citrus decides they don't want them then UT may fare better than Music.

It's going to be Outback bowl again. Citrus is the "best" bowl available. Auburn to Sugar, and probably Gators to Citrus. Which leaves UT with outback bowl.

They'd have to take us over LSU (and A&M as well) though.

The "best" bowl scenario doesn't really exist anymore. It's Sugar, Citrus, then the pool of Gator/MCB/Outback/Belk/Texas/Liberty, followed by Birmingham and Independence. Since UT is likely going to one of the pool bowls, they likely won't go to the Gator or Outback since they went to both recently. The Texas Bowl prefers teams from the West, so UT is probably looking at Music City, Belk, or Liberty. The Citrus is an outside shot.

points to UT in Music City Bowl at best. Barring an upset (to say the least) of BAMA to FL the sugar almost certainly takes LSU or Auburn. LSU may be the hotter team. I think the Sugar will take LSU, putting Auburn or FL in the Citrus. I think Citrus will take Auburn which puts FL in the Outback. The only way I see FL getting pushed below the Outback is if they suffer an extremely embarrassing loss to Bama because they are, after all the SECe champs, as much as I hate to say it.

Just my two...at least TN is going bowling which is better than not going. Perhaps, here's to hoping, Butch and TN can win the bowl game and finish strong in recruiting, TOP 15 in recruiting would be a relief to me.

The Sugar doesn't decide. They get either the SEC Champ or the next highest ranked SEC team if the champ is in the playoff. Auburn is currently ranked over LSU, and there is no reason to believe that the committee will jump LSU over Auburn during a week that neither is playing, so the Sugar is going to get either Auburn (if Bama wins the SECCG) or Florida (if UF wins the SECCG).

my mistake. The highest rank team outside of the playoff gets the Sugar. My what a BAD LOSS the Candy game was.

& FL loses, Auburn gets the Sugar. Does the Citrus take a 4 loss FL team or 4 loss LSU team?

more than likely I think its Music or possibly Belk with an outside shot at Liberty and even more outside at the Citrus but stranger things have happened.

No way guys will it be The Outback Bowl. We don't fit there with our record & compared to what other SEC teams have done.

Will be us in Belk bowl vs. N.C.

This could be a good possibility but what year did we last play UNC in a bowl game? It wasn't too many years ago & they normally like to separate the time teams play each other.

I can't even remember what year that was. I want to to say 2010. That would probably be far enough back that it wouldn't affect us playing them. If it was 5 years or less then it wouldn't happen.
