was ok today untill the kentucky game. can someone tell me why they kept showing a 30 point blow out rather then a 1 point game with 30 seconds to go, and a number 14 beating a number 3 seed?

It drove me nuts as well. Also why they decided to show the vanderbilt game when two other games were going down to the wire?

Here in California, I really enjoyed the surprise switchover from from the Tennessee/SDSU game to the Texas/Wake Forest game with about 1:30 to go in the UT game. Until that point they had shown the entire Tennessee game and then bam! At least they did switch back and forth between the two games, so I saw the very end of the game.

Sadly, they did the same thing in Tennessee. Guess Verne had to change his colostomy bag...

They did the same thing here in East TN. Makes absolutely no sense to me.

I don't think they do these like they would the regular season.

The Tournament coverage has a more national flavor to it. Luckily, I had MMOD, so I was good.

I honestly wanted to shoot my TV when CBS did that.

What ever happen to the small picture of the other game in the corner of the screen? They use to do that all the time.

We can whine all we want but honestly who would do it any better? FOX?? we have seen what they have done with MLB and NASCAR, oh and the NFL.. that dancing robot during commercial breaks.. yeah gay.. ABC??? thier coverage of the NBA is not exactly entertaining. NBC?? the network that makes the Olympics almost unwatchable.

How about PBS? The Weather Channel? MTV could have the cast of Jersey Shore interviewing the players during halftime, then afterwards they could get spray tans with Bruce Pearl.

IT IS A JOKE that we missed one of JPs free throws and Tennessee's inbound play in the LAST minute of play. So not switch off a close Tennessee game in Knoxville. They need to put the tourney on a network with more than one channel. Its embarrassing.

Ummm. How about the obvious choice, ESPN/ABC? All of the games could be shown in their entirety on ESPN/2/U/Classic/ABC.

I really enjoy when CBS cuts away from a tight game in progress to a game that is currently at a stoppage of play.

Yesterday watching the Florida-BYU game, UF had come back to tie it and there was about 2 minutes to go and they had the ball, and all of the sudden they cut away to ODU-Notre Dame and they are in a freaking timeout.

Not to mention that they screwed us at the start of the UT game by immediately going to a 3 minute set of commercials when the game had already started instead of waiting a whopping 5 minutes until the first TV timeout.

Unfortunately, the way the CBS network is set up, East Tennessee is considered a home market for Kentucky and Vanderbilt. We get all of their games every year.:machgun:
Thank God for MMOD.

I thought they did a pretty good job with Texas-Wake game going down to the wire at the same time as the Tennessee game, we saw the important plays in both games.
