I hate Danielson and Lundquist. Who hates them as much as me? I'd rather listen to drunk losers than these two.

Gary one if the most worthless, idiotic announcers I have ever seen. Lundquist is pretty good imo.

i used to somewhat enjoy listening to lundquist but today was a bit ridiculous. the idiotic color commentary from danielson and the stupid sideline/postgame questions by wolfson just made it that much worse.

i wish cbs still had sean mcdonough

lundquist's love affair with tebow is nauseating. mcdonough is just as bad. would love to see fl-fsu play 11 times a year, if it were up to him.

For several years now I have thought that Gary Danielson had no respect for Tennessee's football program. He didn't hide his contempt for our program and never missed a chance to tell us how bad we were. Today, except for the no call unsportsmanlike penalty he wanted against us, I thought he said a lot of complimentary things about Tennessee.

On the other hand, I thought Verne was totally out of character today. It seemed like he couldn't wait for Florida to deliver the knock out blow against us. So much so that he jumped the gun a couple of times. We'll probably find out that Verne doesn't care for CLK or something, but it doesn't really matter. Verne usually stays out of the muckety muck, but jumped right in today. He was probably drunk.

None of it matters because soon enough our team will do all of the talking on the field. Maybe they will all be swooning over Bryce Brown in a year or two like they do for Tebow now.

amen. he only does late espn games now i think. I used to love him and gotfried (i think is his name). i think those two had a falling out and they split 'em up, though.

Im not sure they werent drunk after hearing Verne make the whole bing bang bong comment. Not to mention Danielson saying why is Tebow calling a time out in the third hes supposed to save those for the last minute when there running up the score.

They are morons. My wife who doesn't even watch football very often asked me who the idiots who were covering the game were. I told her that was the reason I had it on mute so frequently, because they go far beyond ordinary suckiness like inability to keep track of down and distance, but will blather incoherently about nothing as long as they somehow kiss Tebow's ass and trash Tennessee. They were pretty complementary about Berry but they were very biased overall. Not to mention made some very idiotic analogies or really just utterly stupid statements. They are always bad but this was about as annoying as I've ever been with them. Todd Blackledge referring to Tebow as my good friend Timmy is also god awful.

somebody must have pictures of franklin in las vegas... that didn't stay in vegas... he was great doing primetime games back in the day

Up until this season, I have actually enjoyed Lundquist as he seemed to always enjoy calling TN games and considered the TN matchups to be storied, historic games. Today he just sounded like an idiot, like Pat Summerall did the year before he retired. I think he's just lost it... how many times did we see an offensive play pick up 2 or 3 yards beyond the first down marker and he'd say "well it appears to be a first down".... appears?

and the only thing I'll say about the turd in the booth with him is that his wife should be very, very concerned about the man-crush he has on Tebow. My lord it's disgusting!

Danielson is fairly knowledgable.
A number of people could do VL's job. He doesn't bring a lot IMO.

The entire CBS broadcast team is awful. I've hated Lundquist for the past few years and would rather listen to a wailing monkey call the game.

I about threw the remote through the TV when Danielson said.."I think Lane is sensing this one is about to get away from him".. That whole telecast was based on the storyline that UF was going to win by 50 and when it didn't happen.. They had no story and all sounded like blubbering idiots.. I did enjoy how the sideline reporter asked Kiffin, Urban and Tebow about the score or lack of running it up and they all stone walled her.. and she like the other two clowns in the booth sounded/looked like an idiot..

I totally agree. They thought they'd be talking about a gator blowout today, and they didn't do their homework on TN. More fool them...

when i was watching the game today people kept saying "are they high?"

the guys are out of their mind. they didn't even sound like they were excited to announce the game.
