CBS Bowl Projections

The Chicken Bowl against BC or Duke wouldn't be a bad gig, either. Maybe Kiffin coud exorcise the demons from the Georgia Dome.

That would be something to play Duke and CDC, I think that story would get a lot of hype.

Not too much glory/upside in playing Duke, even if Coach Cut legitimizes them. If we can't play the tradition of Michigan, then how 'bout big Notre Dame? Maybe the thought is that they are above us this season, but then again, the projected bowl list here has them vs. FSU, who I believe is currently 4-4 just like us, no?

Notre Dame won't happen. No bowl we're both eligible for.

People *****ING about who Tennessee MIGHT not want to play in a New Year's Day Bowl...

How things have swung 180 from the "no SEC wins" after UCLA...

Ah! Thanks. Some of us old dudes remember how wide-open flexible the bowl pairings used to be, and can't quite get used to how rigidly everything is locked in these days. A bit like my old granddaddy calling the Dodgers "Brooklyn" many years after they'd gone to L.A.

I think we are in line for Outback, Cotton, or Chick-fil-a.

If we win out I think it be one of the first two since. If we drop one to Ole Miss then I think we would drop to CFA. Don't see it much further than that.

Does anyone have a link to show which bowl gets what pick? The only ones I have found have it like this: Outback Bowl: Big Ten #3 vs. SEC #3/4. I hadn't heard that the bowls get division pick ranked too (someone said Outback gets first pick of the East or something like that).

I hate the outback bowl, would rather play in the chik fil a bowl anyday. Def do not want to play Wisc again, but I would like our chances at 9-4 and building some off season momentum. Hope we can make it to the Cotton. Guess we would play the sooners or cowboys.

Outback and Cotton gets first refusal Of East and West respectively...FI..If Both say Ole Miss..then the Cotton Gets them...and they had them last year so I doubt they are the Cotton's first pick.....Id look for Ole Miss in the CFA...unless they beat Tennessee..then Outback..

And BTW..the Cotton moved to Cowboys Stadium

I LOVE THE OUTBACK...lived there for 7 years and the year we moved back here, we went TWICE...It's a great trip

Tennessee vs. Oklahoma in Dallas would be a dream matchup. Especially if we both win out and are ranked ~20 and ~10. This would be such a huge opportunity, not to mention what it would do for recruiting if we were to beat Oklahoma in Texas on Jan 1.

That would be a great game but it is on 1/2/10 not on 1/1/10

The outback bowl would be OK---UT would beat a slow wisconsin team easy! Plus, I could party hard in Tampa for 3 days, hitting my favorite spots---Columbia restaurant in Ybor City, Mons Venus, Clearwater Beach...tons of hot chicks everywhere!!!!
