CBS Bowl Projections

That would be great. Personally, if it's not a BCS game we're selected for, the Outback and Cotton bowls are the most exciting to watch. The Peach bowl always scares me. I think UT is allergic to peaches.

I just hope they don't go to any bowl that involves waking up early on NewYear's morning. Isn't the Outback Bowl the one that starts at like 10am?

No, I think our allergy extends to ALL games played in the Georgia Dome.

The thought of playing that slug of a team from the big slow(10), just doesn't do much for me. Any bowl is a good bowl though this year, if that's who it is so be it. A lot can change from here til the end of the year and hopefully it will.

As long as we don't have to play GT in the peach bowl I'm happy. But they look like the could be BCS bound anyway.

yeah GT is gonna win the ACC, so dont worry about that.. i have to say, i was hoping for us to play Florida State in the music city bowl a few weeks ago but now it looks like we will be WAY beyond that, and plus we would POUND florida state.

its possible we could end up in the capital one or cotton bowl,
and if its the cotton bowl we could play oklahoma, not saying we will but its possible.

Tennessee would beat Wisky and their pro-style offense like a rented mule! The 11 am kickoff on New Year's Day would give the Vols TV exclusivity until the Capital One, Gator, and Cotton Bowls all kick off at 1 pm. Would be great for recruiting.

I DO NOT want to play Wisconsin again. That bowl match up just doesn't do much for me. Didn't we play them two years ago for goodness sakes.

Yeah, for the 2007 season, our last bowl game.

The cotton bowl is not really considered a great bowl anymore, is it? And it's still played in the very old cotton bowl stadium? There are way too many bowls and not enough good teams to play in them--as evidenced by the fact that, at 4-4, there is all this talk of the Vols playing in a good bowl...There is work yet to do.

I'd like to play Oklahoma, OK St, Ohio State, or Houston. Most of those are possible, right?

The only way we play Houston is in the Liberty Bowl. Let's hope we don't play them. We'd take care of business though.

The Chicken Bowl against BC or Duke wouldn't be a bad gig, either. Maybe Kiffin coud exorcise the demons from the Georgia Dome.

I'd be comfortable playing any Big 10 team with the exception maybe being Penn State.

I WANT to play them. I think we could expose that offense. I'm sure their D isn't all that. Haven't watched 'em enough.

We will eliminate Ole Miss from Cotton or they will eliminate us from Outback...both will not happen.
