He is not the caliber of coach to win it all in the SEC. You only have to look at his hires to know we can never run with the big dogs in the SEC.

Not with these assistant coaches. If he is smart there should be quite the house cleaning at the end of the season. That includes the S&C clown.

That is a valid point if we were not 4 years into his leadership and have lost critical games due to his gameday coaching. No superstar OC or DC would ever work under him.

The one constant this season is he never has the team ready to play out of the gate. That is a red flag that waves at our front every single game.

There are only 3 coaches in the country who don't need Rockstar assistants. Saban, Harbough and Myer the rest surround themselves with people who are smarter then they are. But I think ultimately CBJ ego will be his demise.

He absolutely most definitely will not be leading anybody to the promised land with that baldheaded boob of an offensive coordinator by his side.

I agree about needing a new OC but to say Butch isn't going to win a title is silly. 95% of CFB teams fold in some of the situations Tennessee has been in this year. I hate the slow starts but who cares as long as you get the W.

And c'mon. Tennessee has played out of this world with the injury situation. You don't have that many key players go down and it be all good.

A " healthy" team might be 7-0 right now. We have been playing most of the season without 3 future NFL players on defense and now our O- line is decimated by injuries. Worst season of injuries I can ever remember.

Lyle is chicken poop. He is afraid that if he hires top shelf people he can't control they will replace him. The truth is that if he doesn't, they will! DeBord is a crony and like a bobble head doll he just nods and does as told. I would not fire Jones but would have a long talk with him. Stocking up with 4 and 5 star recruits that don't fill needs is not championship recruiting. People point to injuries but the depth chart is a result of recruiting. How can there be more WRs than OL? Where are the LBs? There is zero FB. The SEC is not the MAC or Sunbelt. He needs to grow up and forget about gimmicks and worry about coaching.

Since Bubba (Alabama) is getting their butt whipped by everyone else I guess you have a point.

I guess Bob Shoop had an out of body experience when he agreed to take the DC job.

In position to win the east and want to bash Butch for losing to the best team in the country with 12 out of 22 starters. Take a hike man

Before the season 90% of everyone said 10-2 / SEC east and that is stil likely. 5% said higher and I thought that before the season but the injuries to Kirkland and Maybin really hurt. My point is there is a lot of griping and we are exactly where most predicted. Nobody likes to get stomped at home but we had a lot of injuries and now we can get healed up and get to Atlanta.

Someone has to take responsibility for the offense, the OL play over the past 4 years and the inability to stay on the field especially in critical situations. CBJ talks of player consistency, putting your identity on film, etc. we have about 4 years of CBJ's offensive identity ...."... it's getting time to own that identity. It's not about the 400+ yards last week, or this weeks performance, but the body of work to date. Overall, I can't say it is good..... it just not "consistent" from one week to the next. And it generally hasn't been good in games that matter most.
