CBJ Wants First Down Chant

This is similar to what Bama does. Each time the announcer says "1st down Alabama," their fans chant "Roll Tide." By the way, you'll never know how much it hurt me to write that.

Anyway, I think if we're going to follow suit, something simple like "Go Vols" would be in order or "Go Big Orange" as someone suggested earlier.

I love how he tries to pull the cable back in almost immediately after he throws the headset.

He's like, "F this headset!!!....oh wait, I still need it."

Chant needs to be short...
"Ten Ahhhhhh See. Ten Ahhhhhh See..." OR...
"Give him Ten. Give him Ten..." OR...
"Can't Stop us. Can't Stop us..." OR...
"Here we come. Here we come."

1st down chants...oh please. These are so terrible. South Carolina does one and i think kentucky as well. It's embarrassing when they repeatedly play these. Sorry Butch, im not onboard with this idea

1st and...GO FOR IT!

Tweet them all to Butch and he should let the players vote on what they really like to fire them up.

#BrickbyBrick...VFL...GBO!!!

Don't mind chants but love it when the band plays Rocky top.. Never want that to be replaced by chants.

If you've ever watched a Denver Broncos game the whole stadium chants IN-COM-PLETE every time a ball falls to the ground.

I like the idea of PA announcer saying "1st down Tennessee", followed by the crowd chanting, C-M-G!

The 1st and Tenne.......SEE is similar to what they do at Tampa Bay Bucs games.

The announcer says, "1st down Tampa" and the crowd says, "Bay!"

It would work but nothing is going to be "original." These chants have been around for about 20 years.

I think you might be missing that it's going to be said on 1st and (Ten)nessee

No, I put that in the 1st sentence. I was pointing out that the crowd would be taking over for the announcer...which is cool, but not original.

'1st and Tennessee' doesn't end the right way-- if there is a chant, it needs to sound like and have similar cadence to a huddle break.

"Down the Field" works perfectly as well as incorporating our official fight song (which many fans are unaware of).
