After watching the OK-Bama game last night, the difference in quickness and speed was one of the things that stood out. I'm really happy that the 2014 class reflects the need for better quickness and speed across the board. It's reassuring that CBJ and the staff are out front on this. We see this with each and every recruit in the current class and the offers in 2015 class as well. I think we will see an entirely different style of team, both offensively and defensively, by 2015 once CBJ fills the roster with his type of players.

It is really cold here in Washington. It's about 18 degrees now. Hope your temps are warmer.

One thing I like is that CBJ and his staff are striking a nice balance with recruiting. They are recruiting players that are very versatile. We will be able to both spread it and make plays in space and play with power.

The lack of speed all over was probably one of the top 3 problem areas we have if not no. 1. Butch isn't just filling his needs for his system, he's going after the speed that most of our conference foes have had for years.

When I left for work this morning at 7:30, it was 12 degrees here in Bristol, TN.

Frigid 63 and sunny here...might have to break out the winter long sleeves and slacks! Luckily still sunny! :shades:

I think another thing that sticks out to me is that Butch recruits kids that already know how to win. How many recruits in the past two classes were State Championship winners? I mean, he's getting kids that already have a "win or die" mentality. I definitely like that.

Baylor has a great coach and in a talent rich state. Not to mention a new stadium.

Yeah but you got that extra insulation from your bullet proof vest that every Chicagoan wears. lol

Got the paper this morning in Colorado Springs wearing just my drawers.

In 6 hours we will have 6 inches of snow and wind. We can go 60 degrees to 10 in a couple of hours when a system rolls in over the mountains. 15% humidity is hard on sinuses though.

I obviously agree on the need for speed!

Position-wise, I really want Adore Jackson and the best DT & OL available. Beyond that, 5-Star candy such as a RB or dual-threat QB.
