Jones made a big deal before the season started about "Owning expectations", but right now he and the team have not earned enough capitol on the field - and by that I mean the results so far in 3 non-conference games - to say they are owning the expectations of a Championship season.

I think that's fair - what do you think?

Don't listen to the T.V. they are playing you. This team is just starting this season. They are building momentum with every play at this point.

Like jones or not he has a contract til 2020. I do think in the end his choice of coaches will cost him and his ability for any other "high profile" job opportunities

It does seem that the team is not playing hungry - there is no fire, no rage to dominate. I dont really get that sense that our players are straining on the leash to get out there and destroy the other team. Dont know why we have lost that. Hope that rage shows up next week vs Florida

We are 3-0 people. I'd rather look bad in a win than look good in a loss.

Some of y'all want to fire an undefeated coach at this point. Just sayin, get a grip

Based on what I have seen in the first 3 games, they are very poorly coached, totally undisciplined, have weak senior leadership and are extremely lucky. 3-0 way to go!

Season starts next week. Hope its better than the pre-season.

Bad wins, against equal or better competition, are great. Bad wins against inferior opponents, are indicators that you have glaring problems with either your players or your coaches. We know we have the talent, we also know that CBJ retained a terrible oline coach, and hired a terrible offensive coordinator to run a terrible offensive scheme.

I don't mind looking bad in a win but now looking bad and squeezing by to Appalachian St. and Ohio doesn't really give me the same goosebumps it gives you

Jones is a used car salesman. He reached his high water mark at this University last year.

All that's left to do now is sit and wait for everyone else to realize it. We're slow to learn around here, but it'll happen. It always happens.

I knew it today when the crowd was pouring out of Neyland with 4:00 to go in the first half.

If and when Jones time is up at TN they need to go straight to Louisville and get Petrino to sign on the dotted line

Jones just needs to beat Florida to take the bad taste away. Then he can lay claim to owning expectations for the goals we all had going in to this season.

What do I think??

I think we have some ignorant crybaby *** people in this fan base who want the world right now now now, who wouldn't be happy if we blew every team out by 63 points, and who really need to fornicate with a wood chipper.

Our athletic department is a joke. Throwing money and long contracts at mediocre coaches not caring how they perform as long as tickets are being sold. This is the last year I buy season tickets. I'm sorry that it's too little way too late

There are idiots on here that would actually try your suggestion...

UT looked good for 3+ quarters in all their losses and when people said they looked good everyone said we don't care we lost. So yeah, think we should at least wait until next week to decide if our season is tanked.

I never said it gave me goosebumps just doesn't make me wanna up off. Ridge either. Let's play the game before we burn down the stadium because of a potential loss.

If we lose next week. It will be very bad
