One other curious thought of mine is Jones going through Twitter to address this.

Not questioning him in that regard, he can deal with it however he chooses. Just thought it was interesting that he went that direction.

Sparty I have agreed with you on this whole thing. Read this post and got pi$$ed off at whoever wrote it and then looked back and saw it was you. Realized you we making your point and I hope some of these hard a$$es on here see your point. We all need to realize we are all Vol fans on here and we need to quit b!+chin' amongst ourselves and dogging our own players and coaches. Critacism is one thing but this on here goes way past that. We have what we have and b!+chin' is not going to do anything but make things worse. We still have 6 games to play and so enjoy them.

Biggest reason, there is no way I could sit idly by and not respond. And it getting out that Im emotionally attached to the situation would make it exponentially worse. Not good for anybody involved.

I seem to remember when everyone thought the coaches had made the wrong choice in Worley and said Peterman needed a chance. Everyone was saying he could not be worse than Worley. We saw how that worked out.

Where's the link? I doubt he had the veins popped out in his neck and is yelling like saban in his press conferences. I have only seen cool,calm,collected in the press conferences I've seen by Butch. Mentioning the media or press in a interview is not the same as tirades or temper tantrums. Please tell me this is not a make up thread for the thread showing saban blowing up at most of his press conferences?

This thread along with the one after FL claiming that all of the UT fans cheering may have caused us to lose makes me think we aren't recruiting the right kind of players lol! If our guys get worked up by this BS, what are they gonna do when an Alabama lineman is trying to put a cleat up their @#$???

You make an interesting point I have noticed in discussions here and abroad.

Ive noticed that when some have questioned Jones/Bajakian/Mahoney in regards to the offense or the lack of improvement in the OL that some are quick to pitch the players under the bus in trying to make a point that the coaches cant make chicken salad out of chicken $!/&.

Just an observation of some and not all encompassing in any way.

I've noticed Butch starting to get upset with some reporters lately. He made mention today about how the reports on the O line struggles not being of help to their progress. I like CBJ, but I think he may need to check the attitude a bit with the Vol Nation. I think that the most underserved fan base in America could be spared the snarky remarks. There has not been a whole lot made of some questionable coaching jobs (Vandy 13', Gators 14').:whistling: Just an observation. Now lets spank the Rebels this weekend!

And it seems to be some of the same ones in this thread condemning such horrendous behavior
