CBJ allegedly tells Drae Bowles he 'betrayed the team'

CBJ's job isn't in jeopardy over this. Bowles might give as many sworn affidavits as Jamie Naughright before this is over-- and for the same reason.

Gee, I wonder if this had happened to Maggit's or even Orta's sister would they have acted the same toward Bowles. WOW.
The truth is we don't know what happened to the young lady in question. Lot's of jumping to judgements and conclusions without facts.

UT should not settle to make it go away. That's like paying ransom. Opens up for the next alleged victim to get a quick payday. I'm all for justice, but if you're innocent, no need to settle out of court.

That would surprise me a lot. Bowles is a super kid from a good, law-enforcement family.

What probably happened: After Bowles was attacked, Butch said he was removing him from the rest of the team for his protection because his teammates felt like he was a traitor.

The way Vandy fans have called that paper the "UTennesseean" over the years is laughable. Negative UT stories are the biggest click bait that paper will ever ever get. That's their bread and butter. uTennessean my ass..

Gotta let this play out to see what the truth is. BUT you guys acting like you actually know Butch Jones because he coaches football are insane. None of us truly know any of these people.

He also has two contradicting ones. Will be interesting. Not a good situation in anyway.

Who cares if he told bowles he betrayed his team. You dont go in a locker room accusing people unless you know 100% what happened as in sat there and watched it. Technically he did betray his teamates.

I could see it like this:

Drae was emotionally attached to this girl, and he seeing her upset, took her word and accepted what she said instead of talking to his "family (brothers)" about what happened. Because of that, Drae did what he thought was right and called the police, which therefore launched accusations at his brothers, which may or may not have been needed. Butch hearing about this became upset at Drae for prematurely calling police based off one female's account, instead of getting the facts. This led to a lot of negative PR and actions for AJ and Williams. I could see Butch saying that he betrayed the team by just simply accepting the female's word, instead of doing his due diligence and looking out for his brothers. They have to protect each other. That doesn't mean cover things up. It just means that they have to keep undue allegations as far away from the program as possible.

Just my two cents.

All I know is what I read. It said they beat him up and the coach called him a traitor.

Just asked my ten year old if it's in a book, can you always believe it to be true? As a ten year old he knew the correct answer. Just shows you are not smarter than a 4th grader. Here's your sign as you leave four pegs in the barrel of cracks restaurant game.

Well, we now have something that will bump Peyton's issue off the front page

Just the perception of it seems fishy, whats your stance? Not setting you up just curious, what do you know or think happened?

When I read the totality of it all I find it hard to believe that everyone is a liar. If you believe the VN narrative, everyone that says a negative word about Tennessee is a liar.

I read Jennings allegations, I read the Moshak, Schlosser, Mason allegations, Tim Rodgers concerns and subsequent resignation letters, Jenny Wight's firing and the 28 page document where UT

" found no evidence to support widespread allegations that she engaged in inappropriate relationships with student athletes, according to a 28-page investigation report UT released Friday."

Then of course there are the eight young women here accusing the UT administration of not handling their allegations correctly.

That's just going back over the time that Hart has been here.

It's just hard to believe that many people are liars.
