The stupidity of this whole "True Fan" thing was on full display on the EA show this morning. EA and his sidekick were talking about the BasketVol chances of making it to the tourney this season and if they go 6-2 down this final stretch they will likely go. A guy calls in and says true vols fans never pick the Vols to lose. Says he picks the Vols to win the bracket even if they don't make the tourney.

Telling EA he is not a True Vols fan ...awesome. Well done vols fans.

My God when does all this silliness stop!!! We've suffered enough don't you think???

Why couldn't he say," I'm very happy about this class, I think we signed some really really good football players to fit our needs.

As far as some in state talent that left the state...I'm not happy about it. We recruited them hard but i guess they felt like the other schools were a better fit for them personally. We've got to do a better job at competing on the field and that starts with me.

I think we are going to be fine. We'll have a lot more depth this year and I think there are several players in the class that will be ready to step off of the bus and play early.

Let's not make excuses about not having a seasoned quarterback. I think other teams have shown that being a successful freshman starter at quarterback is possible. I'm looking forward to competing this year, have a good day".

I was there when he said it at the breakfast, he was bragging about the recruits that signed. Any outrage is silly. Pick all you want and maybe it will help the Vols get better.

Sounds just like a lot of the holier than thou posters on here who stand in constant judgment of anyone who dares question or criticize any aspect of the Vols athletic department.

I hope you can get used to it, CBJ is here to stay, 121 could settle it once and for all. CBJ won't change, his staff may change but he won't. He does need to control his emotions on the sidelines. He should take a step back and be professional about it all.

CBJ said they got who they wanted. He hasn't backed down from championship expectations and he is improving his staff. All that is left is to win more games.

I'm feeling pretty good about 121. They will be hungry and Rock will train them how to feed.

Get used to it. All the chiches and coach speak isn't gonna stop. He is who he is. Butch is gonna Butch. Coaches all across Merica say cliches and it's fine even when it's dumb. Let ol Butchy say something and it's Meme worthy because our fans aren't happy with him. Every coach we've had has blown games or lost when we should have won. Kiffin had Bama, Dooley had LSU. Butch had UF in '15 not to mention SCe and Vandy this year. We all get it. A man who lives in the pasts, can't see his future.
