I agree with OP.

I think we have lacked elite DB talent for quite awhile. I'm not saying we haven't had any outstanding DBs during Heupel's regime but we just haven't had enough overall star power in the secondary. Excluding this year, our DL has been carrying the D.

I would like to see Heupel go after an elite DB recruiter as I'm impartial to Martinez. Not a huge fan but he has developed some underrated players.

I nominate Roland James.

We choose other positions to pay the big bucks to. Remember the Thomas kid that
transferred to Miami (I think)
