Catching up with freshman QB Tayven Jackson

hey man…. I get it’s cool cause he’s a player on the team. We payed Nico 8 millions dollars. He starts day 1. Nobody else matters

Had the opportunity to watch Tayven in several games the last couple of years since he first committed. Things that really stood out to me where his in game decisions, game management, and always striving to better.

After winning the first of two state titles he was telling reporters all the things he didn't do well during the game and that those needed to be corrected.

QB competition the next few years is going to be nothing le we've ever witnessed at Tennessee.

Very rare for a freshmen QB to come into an SEC team and start. Has been done I know but TN has QB talent so they are not desperate for him to come in and start and learn on the job. Takes some time for a QB to learn the plays, system and get the experience necessary to play in this league. I see him only getting garbage time or red shirt his first yr.

Lol honest take… if you think Jackson has any chance of laying legit time for this football team then you know absolutely nothing about the current state of college football. You don’t pay 8 mill so see it sit on the bench. He’s 6’6 with arm talent. Taven tranfers within a year or so

You underestimate heup while Nico may ultimately win out and become the guy it won’t be given to him… he will have to go earn it and tayven won’t let him have it easily with an extra year I could see it going either way no matter the result whoever wins will have earned it.

Oh he will have to complete.. I’m not saying he’s getting the keys day 1.. but if you don’t think he’s getting 1st team reps day 1 then that’s and issue. He will be the face of Tennessee football. He will rewrite record books under heup. Top 7 offense with Nico is playoff… I ain’t talking 16 teams either
