ROFL I only made it to the 2nd post where the fan stated that during her husband's b-day party that she listened to a game in their truck because it was the only place she could get a signal!!! :eek:lol:

Ha! You didn't miss much. Just incoherent babbling and twisting of stats. You'd think THEY had won 24 straight!

You like stats?... 24. How do ya like dem apples!!!!

That has to be one of the dumbest things I've heard on this board in a long, long time.

Name the big games played in Neyland since '05. The only ones that have been very significant at all are Florida and LSU both in '06. Florida and LSU v. Kentucky in '07 were just as big if not bigger.

2) Channing Fugate isn't even CLOSE to being the best prospect out of Kentucky this year. That honor goes to Miles Simpson or Timothy Patterson. You won't find a single recruiting service to back up your assertion that he is, either...

Rivals has Fugate as the #3 player in the state which fits the poster's "one of the best" statement.

Interestingly enough, Fugate is listed above Simpson

With Jackson and Thompson coming back, I'm convinced that the match ups favor UT across the board. I also expect the Vols to be more physical all over the field this week.

1) This is a terrible year for Kentucky high school football prospects.

Every year is a terrible tear for KY high school football, The same as it is for Uof K football. I must admit it takes some hutzpah to come on the board of a team that has beaten you 24 straight times and try to talk some smack. It is honestly funny though.

CatsPause, I guess that's supposed to be a play on words and is said as, "Cats Paws"? If so, is that the gayist site name you could come up with? lol

Rarrr, we are the cats paws, hear us roar!!! lol

That sounds so lame hahahaha. I had never heard of it either, but then again, I don't waste my time trolling other teams boards trying to hate, or talk about some other sport we are good at when our team loses.

ky's weak dude, just realize it and move on to basketball season, we see you there in a little while.

You're beyond ignorant if you don't understand the play on words that is "Cats Pause."

How many times have the Cats played in the SEC championship game since the league moved to that format?

Last time I checked we were talking about football. But I can see why you would want to change the subject.

We are about to celebrate the SILVER ANNIVERSARY of beating Kentucky into the ground in 1984. If I was you, I'd crawl in a hole and never come out, that's embarrassing.

But from now on, stay on topic, I hate when my cat cannot focus, Just look at my avatar.

Catspause? LAUGHING MY BALLZ OFF

I wasn't the one that brought up basketball. You people are complete morons.

LOL at someone saying Miles Simpson is the best prospect in Kentucky this year.

I've seen Miles play since he's been in junior high. If he's the best the state of Kentucky has to offer then that is pathetic.

He's a very good high school player but athletically he has his serious limitations.
How else can you explain a RB who has rushed for 7,000 yards in his career only have 5 or 6 BCS offers.

Even Cincinnati, right across the river from him has backed off recruiting him.

1) I really hope you're not wishing that John Conner and Janzen meet face-to-face at the LOS because Conner would absolutely beast him and has taken out much better players this season that weren't playing like only their 2nd road game of their career.

2) Your comment is funny because I'm pretty sure there have been bigger games played at Commonwealth the last 5 years than Neyland.

Although it is true that the quality of football at Neyland has fallen off over the last few years (the Vols still beat Kentucky), the administration has taken steps to correct that with the new CLK regime.

However, unless there have been some fantastic high school games played at Commonwealth your claim is still bogus.

You are the one on our board pretending that your football tradition is as rich as ours. I wouldn't be caught dead on a Cat board making the same claims about basketball, even though in recent years our program has been just as relevant nationally.

Lets all celebrate our mediocrity!

Get a brian, morans!

The poster said he was one of the best football players in you state not THE best...:p

In that case, why the hell does it matter? UK doesn't focus on that many players in their own state anyways just like Tennessee. We come into Tennessee every year and take a few players that we give a better evaluation to than UT. We have three players from TN committed that are rated identical to some players you have committed. Would you say we stole them from your state?

The only player in recent memory that has left the state of Kentucky for the Volunteers and meant anything to the program is Luke Stocker and he grew up a Vol fan, even think his family is from the area.

fugate is a 4 star...miles is a 3 star! and patterson, well when i looked him up on rivals. nothing came up in the search base.. so now do u wanna tell me that they are better than fugate... and odds are that miles if he ever wants to amount to anything in football..will go somewhere else other than kentucky...like michigan,nebraska..or the others that are on his list.look up your info before you post please..

Just face it.....UK never has, and NEVER will be relevant in SEC football. I heard this same "chatter" from UK fans about beating us last year, and you got RUINED by one of the worst TN teams in recent memory. You wont win this year, and with CLK in place, it will be back to blowing you guys out by 40+ every year again. A UK fan trying to talk trash about football is actually just pitiful. Poor guy.

Ummm ding ding ding..it doesn't. I was correcting you for not comprehending the other post correctly...I was not joining the conversation concerning recruits. Get it?....Insert Jeopardy music here....Oh sorry time's up. Anyway...:p

Then you obviously haven't watched UK play. The only way teams have been able to attack us this year is lining up in that BS pansy spread offense. If you run right at us like men, it isn't going to get you very far.

Which proves that machismo is gone in modern sports because nobody has lined up straight with us. Even teams that don't run the spread have put in a package with it against us.

Bama didn't run it straight up? Funny...I didn't realize they were running the spread.

Hardesty will go for at least 100 out of the I formation.

I heard the same thing from Auburn fans, Georgia fans, LSU fans, etc. "You haven't won at (Athens, Auburn) in 30+ years, no way you are doing it this year...

You think UT is any more special than the teams we have been able to up-end the past 3 years? I don't...
