Casey Clausen

I'm not sure Sanchez has done anything Ainge couldn't have.

As delusional as that statement may be, let's look at Sanchez's career numbers.

54.4%
6.6 yards per attempt
29tds
33ints

I'm pretty crazy for thinking Ainge could complete every other pass and throw more interceptions than touchdowns.

Insane asylum, here I come!

So delusional that Ainge was in the running to start until he had to go back to rehab.

About as delusional as Patrick Ramsey starting...

No offense dude but you're pretty confident in all of your opinions. And by confident, I mean full of yourself.

You're the man. :bow2:

I am very confident Eric Ainge could not lead the Jets to two AFC championship games.

Maybe you should start a push to get the Titans to trade for him (if he's even still with the Jets).

Where are you getting that?

I think his biggest problem was his mouth wrote checks his performance couldn't always cash. He thought he was way better than he actually was.

I'd rather have a quarterback who believes in himself than one who doesn't.

Some of those losses fall squarely on the shoulders of Randy Sanders and Phil Fulmer, if you ask me. We had some atrocious gameplans in some of the games where Casey Clausen played poorly.

We also had atrocious gameplans in some games we won anyway, because Casey Clausen played great despite the millstone in the coaches' booth.

But the first thing that always comes to mind with him is fourth-and-19.

only had 1 run in with Casey, i was in middle school and he promised a 4 or 5 of us for an autograph after a womens bball game and then bailed out before the end. benefit of the doubt maybe something came up.

I have nothing but respect for Casey. Some of you just look for things to gripe about.
4th and 19

Then being seen dancing his a$$ off at a frat house later that night. Very Cutler-esque.
the guy played hurt all during 2002.

In what way was his hurt shoulder affected by him dancing?

saying I could beat GA with one hand tied behind my back and losing by 5 touchdowns did not help his status with UT fans. Also, being close friends with Kelley Washington (I know some of you liked him) didn't help much either.

It wasn't his fault they lost. He was talking about the previous season when we almost beat them with James Banks at QB.

Casey Clausen was one of our best big game QBs EVER.
He beat Florida TWICE in the Swamp. He beat Miami at Miami. He beat Alabama TWICE in Tuscaloosa.

While is was nowhere near the QB that Manning was in college, he did win more big games
