He quotes three passages, the narrator says that he "arrogantly mocks" them, so he isn't a Christian? His point was this isn't a theocracy, nor do we live in a society where the government can pick and choose which passages to govern after.

To come to the conclusion that he is not a Christian, I would hope you looked more into it than that.
