Freshman Richard Carter was 4-for-4 with two RBIs and junior closer Nick Blount came on to hold off a late rally by East Tennessee State for his 10th save of the season as the Volunteers (22-15) snapped a five-game skid against the Buccaneers (16-19) with a 5-4 victory on Tuesday night at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

Richard Carter isn't the biggest guy, but he has a quality AB just about everytime he is up.

I hate losing to them, but it sure beats having a coach who avoids losing to ETSU by ducking them. Give Serrano a couple of years to recruit and we'll never lose to ETSU again.
