It’s a championship game. The losing team always exits the field immediately so they can do the trophy presentation, postgame etc.

There’s probably video somewhere of Peyton Manning leaving the field after he lost the Super Bowl and not talking to Drew Brees. It’s not a matter of sportsmanship. As soon as the game ends, the field fills up with mediaa d the losing team gets out of there.
But yet Fletcher made sure to wait around and shake Mendoza’s hand

I did see some handshakes (and one notable swing) at the end of the game. I was just making the point of hay the field cleared quicker than normal for the losing team and you never know who waved or shook hands when the camera wasn’t on them.

To be fair though, for all I’m know he could have ran off last night because he’s an a-hole and this thread is valid lol.

His Ferrari was stolen and the Cavinder twin broke up w/ him bc he started cheating on her the first week he moved to Miami. Have a little compassion. He had a very tumultuous off season and persevered.
Let’s not overlook that he had to deal with crackheads on the sidelines. I can’t imagine being a Miami player having to tolerate Michael Irving.

I’m also starting to think they (the coaches) got them off the field quicker because some of the Miami players started to fight (or at least start fighting) some of the Indiana players.

The coaches had to pull Fletcher back doing such.
Thugs, drugs & Fletcher slugs. Makin' his momma proud. 😙🫥

Agreed. I did read that the same person that showed “class” waiting around to shake Mendoza’s hand was also the one who threw the punch
