I just read on ESPN that Carroll has taken the job at Seattle and it mentioned that some recruits that committed were very upset especially one kid that has commmitted to SC since he was in 9th grade, anyways my question is what the chance that some of these kids come our way especially with the CLK and CEO USC ties, I don't follow recruiting heavy like some of you but I follow it some, are we in with some these guys?

D wright committed to USC at the AA game... Prater has a friend who his currently committed to UT. I believe if we get McNair(USC's RB coach) on staff that will assist with us landing some of these kids.

obviously no chance since most thought we were the top 2 with USC for demetrius wright..but he had no problem choosing a team without a coach over us!

bisaccia was hired already

WRONG. He has NOT been hired. His interest was based on whether or not Morris was fired by the Bucs or not. Now that Morris has been told he gets another year, he may not be headed to Knoxville after all. That is the old news my friend.

If chaney left we could have both Bisaccia and McNair... Bisaccia has not officially been named part of the staff yet

i dont' see why some of those kids would still pick USC. If carrol is leaving you also have to look at the chance that there is some kind of NCAA punishment coming and he's jumping ship before he goes down with it. I think the only reason a lot of kids are hanging on to florida is that fact that urban said he planned on being back in the fall, whether it was to save recruits or he's really hoping to come back. If i was going to pick a school i wouldn't want a school i didn't know who my coach would be, and a school that would get me playing time and a chance to play in the NFL.

I know that if I was a guy who could play big time football, I would not go to a school where the coaching situation was unsure in the slightest.

...it's also what size sledgehammer the NCAA is going to drop on the USC football program. How many top-flight recruits will go on the USC payroll if major NCAA sanctions are just around the corner? Especially since the current USC President, Steven Sample, is retiring within the year and his replacement might throw out A.D. Mike Garrett in a house cleaning move.
