Carolina Panthers

I'm just sick of never having an offense in either pro or college football. It's the most frustrating thing ever to watch.

Saw it coming, but it doesn't matter. Clausen's not ready, Moore blows, our offensive line suddenly forget how to block, and the staff is clueless.

Ladies and Gentlemen, your 2010 Carolina Panthers! (Cue it up)

"From the endzone, to the endzone, Carolina Carolina carry the ball..."

Not really sure how the offense is pass first.

On the first drive we ran 7 run plays and no passes.

We just get down 10 points every game and the D puts 11 in the box and Clausen can't avoid pressure or the receivers drop balls. Not very conducive to getting a consistent ground game going.

True, but you would think they would lean a little more on the ground game than they have to protect a rookie qb.

Teams simply stack the box against us and the backs cannot get any running room because there is absolutely no threat of a pass.

It blows....

It just really doesn't matter at this point.

Even if we do get a good draft pick, we'll trade it to the Patriots for a 3rd rounder and Troy Brown to help out on defense.

This team isn't going to win a single game. Calling it right now.

WRONG!!! The Panthers are about to beat the 49ers. I have a strange bit of optimism about what Moore will be able to do now that he's coming off the bench. So much depends on the way we play this Sunday. If we win, I say that the Panthers will win five games. If they don't, they'll give up on the season (even more), and fail to win more than three.

On a serious note (my vent), wth are ticket holders charging out of the wazoo for tickets for this Sundays game? I don't get it. On craigslist and ebay they are outrageous. I saw a listing on ebay for $160 for two tickets, I emailed the guy and said I'd pay a low amount. I noticed he relisted the tickets yesterday for $140 as they didn't sell...they have an hour left and they still have no bids...he emailed me back and said he paid $100 per ticket and he is not going to sell them cheaper, said he'd keep them or give them to charity than sell them for my asking price.

Last time I went, I just scalped tickets off the street and that was for the Thursday night game last year when we were decent. If you went for a 0-5 vs 1-4 game then tickets should be dirt cheap from scalpers.

I was at a wedding this past weekend in the Carolinas, and the mother-of-the-bride has season tickets at her office. She said everyone she knows that has season tickets is in depression right now over this team, and the way the FO is handling things.
She said they are anticipating not even being able to get a dime for tickets later in the season. I told her I'd be more than happy to drive to Charlotte to enjoy some good seats...no matter how bad the team is.
I explained that the Panthers are like a family member, and right now they are sick. They've been good to me over the years, so it's now my job to sit by their bed and wait until they get better. Somebody's got to do it. You can't let your family member just lay there all alone while it's in agony. That's what being a fan is all about.

Yeah I think I'll be going outside the stadium this Sunday...I figured there might just be one seller who would give a decent price.

As much as I piss and moan about the team, I still go to BWW each and every Sunday and sit there and stomp my feet and cuss under my breath so my girlfriend doesn't get embarrassed by the fit I'm pitching.

I'm there thick and thin, but man it's tough to root for this team. It's hard when the team does nothing well on offense and really there's nothing that can help at this point.

I've always been a fan of this team, practically my entire life (the team was founded when I was 6). I've sat through seasons of triumph (2003, 2008) and seasons of awfulness (2001, 2010) and I agree with you 100%.

I'm going to the Cardinals game near Christmas time and no matter the outcome, I will always be a fan even though I want to break fragile items when I watch them this season.... Go Panthers.

Wooooooooooo glad we won! Had a tough time getting tickets until right before kickoff...people still being ridiculous about pricing! They finally realized their nonsense and were begging us to give them something.

On a side note, I saw a guy wearing a UT shirt and I said wooooooo Tennessee, go vols! The whole shebang...he said nothing.
