Carolina Panthers

Whew, Cardiac Cats is such a fitting moniker for this team. Hope we can get some of our key guys healthy for Green Bay next week (Thompson, Kalil, Norwell, etc.). Good win, regardless! 7-0 baby!!!

I went to bed after the Philly Brown TD to put us up 23-6 in the fourth.
Yikes!
Do you guys think we trade for anybody today?

:eek:lol: i wish i did. i was wired after it was over.

and that Tedd Ginn drop........oh. my. god.

obviously we didn't make any trades, but i didn't think we would.

i do think we probably explored some possibilities....but i didn't see DG getting in over his head on any one player.

for the record, i do think we lose Sunday. Aaron Rogers 14-0 the last 14 after a loss. we're on short week, and a little banged up.

and that's ok. if you would have told me 7-1 half way thru, i'd of told you you're nuts.

as you might remember, i was fairly pessimistic.:)

Agreed on a loss this weekend. We've still got a ton of injuries, and a short week against a fired up Aaron Rodgers spells out trouble. If they find a way to win this game, this team is a true Super Bowl contender, plain and simple...

I also agree on this loss, but I was thinking this would be a loss early on. But let's try and keep this close and competitive!

I won't be surprised if the Packers win this weekend, but I can't pick against Carolina. For all the reasons y'all have mentioned (short week, injuries, Aaron Rodgers, etc.) common sense says to go with the Packers. But, they've not been right, offensively, in several weeks. They aren't dominant in the run game. Josh Norman will take away either Cobb or Jones. Shaq Thompson should be back which adds another defensive weapon. Ryan Kalil should also be back, which will boost the OL. Nobody thought they'd go into Seattle and walk out with a win either. There's something special about this team. It's one of the corniest phrases you ever hear (even though it really has a special significance in Panther history) but this team truly embodies the mantra of "Keep Pounding" and that's what they keep on doing. Week after week, game after game, they do enough to get the job done and I really don't think any one player cares about their personal stats as long as the team succeeds. In a way, they're kinda like the Patriots in that aspect.
