Carolina Panthers

but let's not forget one thing.......there's really no excuse to be this bad in the NFC. that's the one thing that's still hard for me to get my head around.

No in the NFC is all that great...........

Well its not that bad of a year to be down considering the patriots are pretty much going to get the crown at this point and that has not changed since the beginning of the season. Sucks for Dallas, to get spanked by them twice in a year...Dallas may perform a little better now that they played them, but I think the outcome will be the same for them--L. But I also have to say, I am very glad that we don't have NE on the schedule, I'd hate to see that score...........

What an awesome day. These are my favorite days when this happens:

1. Panthers get a big win at home. I'm proud of them, they don't have anything left to play for but somehow they keep on keepin on. :) Oh and didn't I say they were here just to get a win for an upset. Ohh Go me! :)

2. DALLAS LOSES!!!!!!! :dance2:

The last thing that will help is to see UNC lose in basketball.

Oh and yes I have to say I'm proud of Matt Moore's start today. He got us a win but he should be banned from the team for saying Romo was his Idol.:birgits_giggle:

i'll hold off on my analysis of Matt Moore until he throws a touch down pass. good win yesterday, defense stepped up and they just kept running it.

that was a game i didn't think they were capable of winning. 6-10.........

well, there's a game Saturday night that would go a long way, imo, in helping heal some wounds for this season.

there would be no moral lift to an otherwise dreadful season than to send the cowboys home with a loss Saturday night.

regardless of how this season has played out so far, i will be watching with great interest Sat. night.

hope Romo's thumb is as bad as it appeared.

go panthers.

come on panthers. I am a fan for tonight. Come back and stomp a mudhole in the cowboys. please....

well - as much as I wanted the Panthers to win...

There still hope to give Favre homefield advantage, especially with TO out.

Not really. Word is Terry Glenn is coming back next week. He should draw near the same amount of attention TO did, and if he doesnt then watch out for him to have a big game. If he plays. IF he does not play they will have a tough time against Washington. But I think they still pull it out..I think Witten Crayton and Hurd can get it done.

I also think the Packers are going to lose to Detriot.

Lol - Terry Glenn won't do a THING. There's a reason he's been out so long. You don't come off an injury like that and shine.

Panthers played their hearts out last night. That Steve Smith challenge near the end I still think was a catch. It would have changed the game had they over turned it.

7-9. Despite losing 5 in a row, we may finish just one game out without a QB or a solid DE or defensive backfield.

Great move by Fox to put Vinny in on the last play for the last snap of his great career.

The one time I'll root for the skins, but I don't think it will happen, skins haven't done anything more than just being an average team.

the cowboys are going to throttle the skins.

How 'bout them Skins. Say what you want about TO not playing and yada, yada, yada. But the defense completely SHUT DOWN Romo, Witten, Barber and Jones.

Name a team that wants to face them from the NFC.

the way the pack is playing? please.

The way the Dallas offense has looked the past 4 games? Please.

Would Todd Collins still be starting against Green Bay, because I guarantee you he won't look as good as he has against their secondary.

hahahaha.. funny stuff. A. no one will probably be throwing in that game. B. Todd Collins is very accurate. I don't see him doing anything stupid against the Packers secondary. He didn't struggle against the Bears, Giants or Vikings either.

true, he didn't, but Green Bay may have the best secondary in the league and he has to come back to earth sometime don't you think?

well it's official, Fox and Hearny to retain jobs for next season....as expected.

but i'd say the pressure is on next season to get something done. they've obviously made their bed, it's time to do something with it......should be an interesting off season.

Yeah I would have been shocked to see Fox go somewhere. Its really going to depend this year on who he recruits and if he continues to use the old injured reserves game after game; needs to start using the new young guys that can train and become better over time.

it makes you wonder when you see matt moore play decently down the stretch if they are just reluctant to put in unproven people and give them a shot, or if they are just not all that great at talent evaluation.

based on some of the off season moves they've made, with some of the draft selections they've made, a case can be made for both.

it's no secret this team isn't getting younger, we're about as close to "rebuilding" as we're going to get and it's time that they start to appear that they are preparing for the "long term".

Well I think alot of it has to do with not giving them a chance. But like you said it can be both. There is definately talent but I think they are afraid to put someone in that they have not seen play so much compared to someone they know what they can do even if they aren't performing very well anymore.

Well I just read that Basanez has made a turn around, almost 100%. So I guess that means that he will be taken off of injured reserve. Do you think they will still search for another qb with him probably coming back, depending on where Delhomme is at, and my guess is keeping Moore?

Also noticed another article from a week ago that they have signed on a few other guys, two being WR--one of which went to UT--Chris Hannon. The other WR is Dominique Thompson, do not know anything about the guy. Thoughts?
