Carolina Panthers

yep...when your choices are Carr, Vinny and/or Moore....you're at the point of throwing things against the wall and seeing what sticks....

and i didn't see teh whole game today, but another L at home.....i'm guessing it wasn't pretty.......

Well The D gave up a very easy first Touchdown, they just marched right down the field. Then after that they came to play, did very well. Then towards the end they left and gave up another easy touchdown for the win. :realmad:

The offense, well it just wasn't there. Surprise Surprise. Vinny did have some good throws its just the receivers dropped every ball that seemed to come there way, even when it fell right into their hands/stomach region, they dropped and dropped them. People in my area of the stadium were yelling to put Moore in but of course, that didn't happen until the very last play. I don't get that, I mean if you are going to use him, why not use him for a series or so, but you put him in for one play, I thought that was stupid. When they were down with 20 seconds to go, I don't know why they didn't put him in there to begin with then because he has done well with throwing the long balls. Oh well.

The game overall was alright, just a back and forth defensive game. There was an atl fan sitting next to me and she was quite annoying---she was a big woo'er, thought there was a train next to me actually. "woo-woo" every 15 seconds it seemed. :glare:

yeah, yeah, yeah.....i think it's great that we're 4-2. we aren't out of it. all agree on.

i just haven't seen anything yet for me to sit up and say, yes, we're a play off team right now. of course we would be if the season was already over, but unfortunately, that ain't the case.....

here's the rest of the schedule:
Indy--Loss
@TN--Loss
ATL--Loss
@GB--probable loss
NO-it's at home, so probable loss
SF--this is a game the cats can win.
@Jax--they beat down TN, who beat us...probable L
SEA--looking at SEA last night....they're better than us
DAL--uh, loss
@TB--who knows. they're as schizophrenic as we are.

honestly, how many of those games do you look at and honestly say, "yep, that's a definite W". 2 maybe 3, 4?
just giving my projection as we stand today. maybe two more wins given the current schedule, and 6-10 season. if we make it to 8-8, i'd call that a victory.

I'm surprised you would give any of them possibilities or wins. :p

So guys what do you think will happen this week!? Packers are favored by 10 points, and I think that is accurate. My guess would be more though which is why I will say:

Panthers 13
Packers 34

the pack seem to have found a semblance of a running game, and if that holds true, that makes BF even more dangerous.

either way, the def. backfeild will have a busy day, and short of getting pressure on Favre, i think they may fare pretty well.

i don't know that they score 34 as you predicted, the def by all rights has been a little better the past couple of weeks. though, they won't shut them down either.

i think you're right about our offense though...13-17 pts may be all we're capbable of putting up.

i'll say GB scores 24-27........to our 13-17.

Oh sure give us a range of scores, thats too easy :p

Well our defense may play well for 2 quarters, but they seem to also give up easy ones.

And our offense, is just nothing. I'm being generous to give them 13.

i guess i forgot that 7 of our 13 pts last week was the result of a def. TD.

UTCLA.....you are correct. 27-7 sounds about right.

The fact that we're going to be down early and have to throw all game makes me think that DeAngelo might grab a swing pass on GB's 20 with 1:42 left in the 4th quarter and break a few tackles en route to yet another meaningless score.

I've given up on any expectations for this team- and I think that besides the 49ers, we are tied with the Ravens and Raiders for the most boring team in the league.

That being said, I won't miss a game- I just may not be excited about any of them.

Me too, although I did miss the colts and a few other games on TV, I did hear them on the Radio on the way back from K-ville.

let's just say i picked a good year to get the NFL ticket......

I picked a bad year to buy tickets to 3 games!

i would remind you that i got my indy tickets for free, but that would just be in bad taste.:)

that about sums that up. 4 game skid, two games back......that light at the end of the tunnel is a train.

we're done folks.

Although that game sucked, I have to say my prediction was quite close! :p

On that kick off return there looked like there was a holding on Kasay, not like he was going to make the tackle anyways, but still, to me it just looked like it.

The other thing that was crazy was the challenge flag. Now I didn't see the fumble at first until they showed it, but I was thinking that could go either way because of video evidence. Then they said it was fumbled but they couldn't tell who got it. How could it not be any more clearer with it being in our hands?!!?!?!?!?!

Tom Brady :birgits_giggle:

Really? I don't know. I really don't know that many of the qb's for this draft will be able to play at the next level. I thought Dixon was a great qb, a great leader, until he got hurt, so that definately won't help them. But as far as drafting for the panthers, I don't see them drafting qb's, hopefully they will trade, but to draft a young guy, very doubtful. And what qb would want to be at the panthers, they don't give the young guys the chance to play, ie matt moore.

I am not a Panther follower, but I do enjoy watching them from time to time and somebody needs to light a firecracker in pepper's arse...He is playing like a bum this year, what is up with that? Also I think the coach has to go, I am sure this has been mentioned 1000 times...It wouldnt suprise me a bit to see Cowher coaching Carolina next year...As far as the drafting goes, I agree that you will probably trade....Don't know about the situation going on in Cleveland with Anderson and Quinn maybe you guys get whoever isnt going to be the starter next season.
