You're assuming the Cleveland ownership will fire Freddie. While he certainly deserves to be canned for many different reasons, I'm not certain that happens. And if he does, I doubt he's smart enough to hire Riverboat Ron.

One thing you can say about Rhule is that he's good at taking a crappy team and making them good. That's harder to do in college than in the NFL, so maybe he'll do alright. Not my ideal pick, but if you're going to fire a guy like Ron Rivera, you kind of have to go with this sort of outside-the-box hire.
