I hate having to clean the inside of my car's windshield....why does it get that built up film?

It is the armor all and stuff you put on the dash. When it evaporates it gets on the inside of the glass. Heck just the oils and such in the plastics of the dash will do it too.

The only thing that I have found that really cleans glass without streaking is plain water wiped off with the black and white newspaper print. Not the colored pages like advertising flyers .

My mom used newspaper to clean glass. She used a little cleaner with ammonia, too. I've never heard anyone else ever mention it.

I'm a big fan of 303 Aerospace Protectant. I would be afraid that vegetable oils would build/gum up over time.

I did not know that...

My mom taught me long ago that Olive Oil is great home remedy product. If you have cuts & scrapes anything that might cause a break the skin and cause a little bleeding. Even use it as a wood/furniture polish.
