They're both ok by me. Guess the good ole boys that don't like either gotta maintain their "image". I got a freezer full of rainbow trout & although I love them I would prefer ljs or cap'n Ds. Just like I would prefer beef to deer or chicken to turkey.

Captain D is for Ray Danner, started Shoneys, etc. He is from Nashville, so I always preferred supporting the local place.

Captain D's is pretty good. Ones in Brentwood or Hendersonville or Murfeesboro are great. You need to try their jumbo shrimp. It'll make ya say more please.

Grandpa gets his gravy biscuit and coffee for breakfast at Hardees in the morning and takes grandma to Captain D's for lunch.

No matter what city you go to, you see the same scene played out between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Even looks like the same group of people from city to city.

Been very close to many black bears there, though. Moose as well.

Either one is great hangover food. I wouldn't eat in for lunch or dinner but maybe once a year tho.

Ya know, I started this thread after eating at Captain D's yesterday. I've had the craps since and just now seem to be getting over it. Maybe you people are right.

Could be a coincidence. But probably not.

I can sympathize, I was laid low by a convenience store sandwich from southern Illinois recently.

I ate at some diner in Cheyenne one time. If your in Cheyene make sure you watch the diner you eat at. I can't exactly remember the name but it was like Wally's or something like that. It bout killed me. I got to Denver and worshipped the toilet.

They still got that club downtown Denver that used to be a Church and has a shot bar where the altar bar used to be? That place gave me the willies.

They're both of the YUM Brand corporation. As is pizza hut and kfc. I've been in a kfc/taco bell combo store as well. It does seem odd though.
