I here proclaim this the great fish place debate. Let the winner reap the rewards of southern people love'n southern fired fish. I'm a Captain D's man myself. I love their Seafood platter. Can't really beat it for the money. Which one do you eat at and why?

Neither, both are ****ty..

What you talking bout Willis?

Captain D's is pretty good. Ones in Brentwood or Hendersonville or Murfeesboro are great. You need to try their jumbo shrimp. It'll make ya say more please.

Long John Silver's 2 piece fish, with a piece of Chicken and extra crumbs, and plenty of vinegar...

Im not trying to come off as a seafood snob, but taking shrimp and fish, freezing it then throwing it in week old batter and deep frying it in oil that probably hasn't been changed since the Bush administration doesn't sound like a good meal to me.

I like fast food and greasy food from dives just like the next guy, just not with seafood.

I would have to go with neither, as well. I could go for some Pappadeaux's, though. Or, Catfish King.

LJS huh? See I actually get sick after them. Too much grease. I'd say Captain D's is a step up. Only thing I like about LJS is they normally have A&W's in them and I can a root beer float.

Long John Silver's. I remember being 5 years old and wearing one of those paper pirate hats they used to give kids. One of those childhood memories that sticks with you.

also, a fast food restaurant (or any restaurant) is only as good as it's management team. If a store is using week-old oil, then the management should be fired immediately.

If it wasn't swimming in the water in the last week, I don't want to eat it. I got spoiled living in Alaska, I guess.

Dude what is it with you and cold weather? Have you ever seen a 90 degree day?

Anyways, where in Alaska did you live. I was in Kodiak for Christmas one year 2000 with my GF and her family where she lived.

Ex GF. GF before I met my wife. Not a GF on the side as my wife is Filipino and would honestly cut me up in little pieces while I slept if I even thought about cheating.

Palmer (near Wasilla). Nowhere near Kodiak. I've never been to Southwestern Alaska.

I remember walking into the airport after I got of the plane and seeing a big stuffed Bear (there were two in the airport at various spots) and seeing people in plaid, all in plaid, every where I looked plaid plaid plaid and thinking to myself this is going to be a very long 3 weeks. Then I saw a Cheers bar minus Norm and thought to myself heh this might not be too bad after all. Alaskans can drink I found out.

Wasilla huh? meet any Momma grizzlies?
