Special treatment regarding "marquis" players is what has ruined the NBA. At least for me. I don't watch any longer except for (maybe) the post season.

I just don't understand what LeBron has done that would be considered special treatment.

He's been great for the league and will probably end up one of the greatest players to ever play the game.

It's crazy when you think about it. The guy is 24 years old and is averaging 28 8 & 7.

The NBA needed LeBron and Kobe bad. The NBA's reputation was really bad for a few years before this new crop of guys.

Yeah, but that's the way it's always been (Jordan's push off on Brian Russell). Stars are usually gonna get the benefit of the doubt.

There's a biiiiiig difference in having fun and what we are talking about here cwil. CP3 has fun playing basketball but can still keep it classy

I never tried to take anything away from him, he's a great player. He may travel every game but refs don't call it on anyone anyways.

I've never understood why people have a problem with LeBron.

What is so bad about dancing before games? He does it to keep himself loose. He likes to play loose, he likes his team to play loose, and it works for them. He has a great team because of their chemistry. He's a team player, and he likes his team to have fun...nothing wrong with that.

You don't have to be intense to be a great player. Different people function different ways. LeBron plays much better when he's loose.

He never talks bad about his teammates or coaches, he shares the ball, he plays smart, he always stays positive, he's one of the smartest players in the league (Shaq said LeBron could be a head coach right now, he's got that much bball IQ). He never has off-the-court issues. He works hard, he always plays hard. He's a coach's and owner's dream.

I guess lots of people don't like the hype he received coming out of high school. Well, sorry folks, he's lived up to that hype and THEN SOME.

I'm sure lots of people will also whine about him not shaking hands after losing in the playoffs, but hey, lots of players don't. Peyton Manning???

And if you think it was his fault they lost to the Magic last year, that's ridiculous. He averaged 38/8/8 on over 50% shooting in that series. Cavs lost that series because Ilgauskas and Williams disappeared, Rashard Lewis made every shot in sight, and even Howard made his FTs.

Find me an NBA player who doesn't whine about calls in today's league. Hell, even Duncan whines after every call.

Do you prefer Duncan's wide eyes and arms in the air?

Do you prefer Kobe punching the air and not getting back on defense?

Do you prefer Rasheed Wallace's cussing and whining?

It's what the NBA is. If you don't like it, hate the NBA, not LeBron.
