The citrus bowl was never a bad bowl. Pre BCS it usually had the second place sec team. Wouldnt mind having that again.

Guess the point of my thread has been taken totally out of context. Has nothing to do with us not going to a bowl or it being a bad bowl. It was the fact smartass Spurrier who use to rag us for going there seems to find himself going there & it's the most prestigious bowl they have been to since he's been there. Not sure if it ranks higher than the outback bowl but if so its the most prestigious bowl they have ever been to.

Many xperts had them in Atlanta....didn't see many saying we would be over .500.
