Cant beat anyone without a QB

Wanna see really good QB play?

Watch a game when Tennessee goes up against an opposing QB with little to no prior playing time who is a true freshman, a back-up, or an unknown walk-on. Guaranteed we’ll give up many 3rd-and-long plays, commit ill-timed (and pointless) penalties to extend his drives, and otherwise screw up enough to give him confidence and momentum to have a great game.
We are really good at that Mr. Ferguson.

When the QB doesn't play well, the offense doesn't play well. When the offense doesn't play well, eventually the defense stops playing well and the game collapses. We've seen it time and time and time and time and time again. Against equal, or lesser teams, JG can put a good game together and we usually pull out a win. Against better teams, JG stinks it up making freshman mistakes and turning the ball over as a 5th year QB. Pruitt needs to read the writing on the wall, bench JG and start developing the younger QBs.

If we would have 50 yards of rushing offense in the first half... then. ... You can blame whoever

That's a small piece of the equation, the receivers weren't getting open quick enough, there isn't a qb in the country that was going to win with our players tonight. We do need to get better at the position though. And we need a threat at TE as well.
Open quick enough for JG....theres a difference between JGs open and other QBs open...

Only qb's that matter to this team are the ones on the roster. Which qb's would have been better in those situations?

We have seen both JT and BM fit the ball in tight windows.....and HB did it in HS...JG has to see a receiver open instead of throwing a receiver open...

I've seen nothing in their play to lead me to believe they would have handled the Georgia defense any better.

And if they were better that works mean this coaching staff was incompetent. Which one do you believe is true?

Starts and ends with coaching.

Either keeping him in the role.
Keeping him in the game.
Not being able to recruit a decent qb.
Zero offensive adjustments.

14/28 259 2/1. 1 fumble

That's the line for a 1st start of a true freshman... Against #3 UGA.... with 2 freshman tackles...

How'd JG do today??

No one cuz no one else has gotten a chance. But last year when 1 did those were his numbers...
This Georgia defense is elite, literally it may be the best in the country. Their defense this year is much improved. Can't compare apples and oranges.

People need to stop making excuses for JG. He has never been good at any point in his career, this type of performance is normal not an outlier.
Not really, but I agree he isn't a very good qb. This was a bad outing for him for sure but there wasn't a qb on the roster that would have made a difference. The disparity between their defensive talent and our offensive talent was too great.

Not really what? JG has been terrible against every good team he has played his entire career.

Last year UGA defense was top 3 nationally too....
It's better this year and the offensive line blocked last year. There wasn't a qb on this roster that would have made the difference. We had better receivers last year as well, especially in the slot.

That this was his normal game. It would be like saying last year at Mizzou was his normal game both were outliers.

So last year with a worse team and freshman QB our much less experienced oline blocked better???? Seems to me since in the same players add in mays....then we should be asking why all of a sudden witha different QB the line blocked worse....BM got the ball outta his hands and pushed it downfield..JG holds it to long then checks down...its obvious that tbe QB is the problem

No it isn't, maybe against the elite but we don't play elite every week. What part of that can't you understand. That isn't the normal game for him. If you want to qualify it with against elite teams then that changes the qualifiers but that's not the argument you laid out.
