99% of transfers say the same thing about how great their new environment is.

Addison Nichols spoke very highly of Heupel, praised UT, and handled the situation about as well as anyone could.

Our Pizza in a cup is better, though.

i mean, reading what he said it wasnt inflammatory at all. he said some very nice things about CJH and the Tennessee program. nothing to see here, dont make mountains outta mole hills
True. Farm was just making glib comment, which i followed through regarding Mincey, who als said nothing bad. Unlike the guy who portal-ed to Michigan.
This is VN, we don't always follow the paved road, or even graveled road. Sometimes we ride flying elephants, unless they're red with white splotches.

Addison Nichols: “Coach Heupel is a great guy, a great coach and has a great program,” said Nichols in January. “Couldn’t say a bad thing about him. Definitely learned a lot through my time there, but at the end of the day, I just didn’t see myself hitting my full potential in the room I was in."

Translation: If he was good enough to play under Coach Heupel, he would have. Hard to reach your potential sitting on the bench. Best of luck w the Razorbacks young man. Should be plenty of opportunity to reach your potential there.

Too bad them Hogs gonna be on a search for another Head Coach...maybe BEFORE the Season is through...

2024 Hot Seat: Now or never

TeamCoachRatingBreakdown
team logoSam Pittman5If you just want to sit around, shoot the bull and have a beer, Pittman's your guy. This salt-of-the-earth coach is one of the most beloved figures in the profession. But winning percentage rules all, and in the hyper-competitive SEC, 2023's 4-8 mark doesn't cut it. That tied for the program's worst record since 2013. It's beyond coincidental that the last coach to win big at Arkansas, Bobby Petrino, was hired as offensive coordinator. If athletic director Hunter Yurachek makes a move, he's got a built-in interim coach ... maybe more than that. 2023 rating: 1

He says he 'needed more'. Translated, that means he didn't see himself breaking into the starting lineup. It just ticks me off a little that the clown over on SDS predicted Arky to upset us this year. I hope we pound them.

My first thought was exactly what the article says, the interim head coach is already there

“Couldn’t say a bad thing about him. Definitely learned a lot through my time there, but at the end of the day, I just didn’t see myself hitting my full potential in the room I was in starting for the Vols, so I had to go to a lesser program to insure I got playing time."
