I guess if UTC feels the same he'll find out. Me? I don't have a problem with it and I'd still rather have him. But, as I've said all along, that's just me. We have Currie and I'll support him until I don't. Haha.

Agree. Although I'm not remotely a Currie guy, at all. Would much rather have Blackburn and I think the AD will be worse off for not having brought him in.

Seriously in this article Blackburn is admitting that he got caught up in pursuit of another job - so much that he's not sure he was doing a good job where he was at.

Now he is trying to say UTC is great and that he should have appreciated what he had rather than getting caught up in the noise around the AD job at Tennessee.

There is no hidden story here - just someone looking back and realizing that he didn't handle the situation well.

More comedy.

You don't see it as unprofessional that he admits to not doing his job properly because his mind was elsewhere?

At my employer it would be considered unprofessional and a reason to be passed over for promotion, raises etc.

UTC may be okay with this but it would not fly well in most companies.

He would have been better served to say nothing.

Less we pretend all is the same.

You would get stuck in the real world. And be the type that gets passed over.
