I enjoy watching her play but the taunting she displayed against Ole Miss was uncalled and classless IMO.
Examples would be when she blocked the shot underneath the basket and she said something like "Are you serious"? The other thing was the stare down on the sidleine after she blocked a shot and the ref jumped on her.I think you play with confidence but this display is out of character for a Pat Summitt team.

Slick Rick says, I missed those. That is very uncharacteristic of Candace. I personally know her and she is always a kind, respectful young lady. You are right though, our Lady Vols need to represent the University in a good way. They don't need to try to show up the opponents.

let's chalk it up to youthful exuberance, but I think it's the kind of fire that's been lacking from the Lady Vols in recent years

My favorite is when she just stops and stares at players after making a play.

At least she's not beating on her chest and pulling at her jersey all the time like Latta.

I missed this as well and I hope it was just the heat of the moment type of reaction. I'm sure if Pat saw this type of behavior she will correct it. I know that her teams has always shown the upmost respect for thier opponets.

Her reaction was not directed at her opponent, in either case. Candace has stepped up her game in this tournament, it is logical that there should be some outward expression of her emotions.

That being said, after the second instance in the Ole Miss game, the referee walked up and talked to Candace about it. You could see her politely say OK to the ref and it didn't happen again.

If I had 24 points, 14 rebounds, 5 blocks, 3 assists and 3 steals all before the 11 minute mark in the second half, I'd be acting a little cocky too.

When you are the best basketball player on your level, you can say and do what you want as long as you back it up. Which she did.

You know, we could easily substitute Noah for Candace in this post. But when he shows emotion he's a whiny fool, right?

hahaha, well i'm rooting for Fl to win the NC, i just don't like Noah, i think he's good, but he talks a lot of noise. n i'm not sayin that i'm glad C. Parker did, but when your the best you can do that. Noah's good, but not the best.
