Nothing kills people's interest in watching a game like saying "26 point spread? HA! Memphis will be lucky if they can stop Tennessee from covering that"

Nothing also generates a little bit of intrigue in a game if you get people to think it can be a competitive game.

Memphis really wants to win. If Tennessee doesn't come in with an attitude to match that, weird things can happen.

They have been smoking it all. That's why they write articles with statements like possible.

Memphis is holding C-USA back, and they think they have a chance in K-Town on Saturday night.:eek:lol:

Tennessee wasn't supposed to compete with the bammers, but we did, and almost won. So anything is possible. As soon as our players start to disrespect their opponents by overlooking them, they've already loss.

We have a L at home to UCLA. Anything is possible, especially given our margin for error.

I watched them play Ole Miss earlier this year and they kinda hung with them through the 1/2 but then got blew out in the 3rd and 4th. What stood out to me was if i remember correctly they had 2x6'7" guys @ WR. Hope JJ and EB are wearing thier spring shoes this week lol. But no doubt in my mind we'll gettem by 2 TD's. GO VOLS!

For what it's worth this same idiot wrote an article earlier this year where he said that Tennessee would finish 6th in the East.

99% of The Jackson Sun writers (Morris being the exception) make Adams and Co. in Knoxville seem like Pulitizer Prize winning material.

There are plenty of players on Memphis' roster who wanted to play at Tennessee but we not recruited. Running back Curtis Steele is one of them. He said on Monday he wants to prove the Vols wrong - even though none of the coaches who chose not to recruit him are no longer in Knoxville.
