This guy has serious Penis (Spider Y Banana) envy. Can't stand that a coach would make that much more than him. And he's an academic snob.

maybe someone should paint a message to gruden (if it hasn't already been done). Bet he would go nuts over that. People post all the time saying how much he loves ut. Nother bigger than a message from the fans that want him. would be huge!!!

Someone needs to paint a big chucky face on the rock with the words, "Coming in 2013, The SEC is officially on notice"

I wonder how many of the people upset with the chancellor even attend or hold degrees from Tennessee. Believe it or not, the chancellor has more on his plate than the football team. The university is doing well and it's reputation has improved greatly even since I graduated from there (which wasn't even that long ago). I'm a diehard UT sports fan, but that's entertainment. He's running a large academic institution. Most of the people wanting to fire him because of football couldn't run a faucet.

Admittedly garden hoses confuse me, but I am normally pretty good with faucets...

What kind of snobbish BS is that? I do 3D Animation work, for your information...about as technical as learning to fly a Boeing 747. UT doesn't even offer that degree.

You think people are beneath you cause you got your yours there? What a dumbass comment.

If Ckeek keeps the money coming in then we might need to keep the bum another year or 2 because AD Hart said we urgently need a new dorm building for our players since the old one was built 40 years ago.

I'm amazed that we only have around $2 Million in our emergence fund and the other SEC schools have $50 Million to over $100 Million.

Hamilton sure put the screws to us.

Why does cheek need to be fired? Is it not his job to worry about the academic side over the athletic side?

I thought that was the purpose in having an AD..guess I may be wrong but that's always how I understood it

Its in the process of being done fans are wearing gruden masks to UT Vs TROY afterwards they're going to get together and paint the rock for him.

Not what I was saying at all. You took it the wrong way. I'm saying that I don't understand why someone with no academic affiliation with Tennessee would have any kind of input about the running of the academic side of the university. I'm proud for you and your work. That has nothing to do with this. I certainly don't think I'm a better person than others for having attended Tennessee (it's not Harvard for Chrissakes). I'm merely pointing out the bias of a section of our fanbase who doesn't give two sheits about the University and would shutter the whole thing down for a winning football team.

For the record, you confirmed exactly what I thought. You are someone who wants to fire the chief academic officer of the university because he doesn't suit your football whims, but you don't care about the academic side of the university at all. Why would you? You went elsewhere, and for good reason. It would be like me calling for the head of the CFO at Lowe's home improvement.
