FWIW, most of the non-bench staff doesn't make 6 figures.

From what I'm reading, he's getting a 1 year suspension.
Must be Level 1 infractions.

Yeah, it's a tough life making more money in year than what most people I know will make in their lifetime...I will pray for the well-being of his family.

Just last year, many wanted to run CCM out of town. Was his family being considered? There must have been some shady dealings going on for the administration to make this move. The guy messed up and it's time to move on. Hopefully , the AD does a better job with the coaching search this time around.

It's really hard to have sympathy for self-inflicted wounds. Especially true when he took a large sum of money knowing that this scenario was a real possibility.

Sadly we seem to keep picking those who are good on the court but questionable off of it

CDT's name does not ring loud enough!! Look at what's happening in Tarheel land. That's right, there is nothing to look at. Cuse and NC are money makers.

If i read correctly, CDT was not directly involved with the violations.
However, the NCAA has implemented a new rule which directly places blame on the HC if any misconduct happens from the coaching staff.

Goes to show you to be careful of who you hire.

Layoffs occurring daily where I live from 50 to 200 or more at a time. Its a mining and natural gas area. Its all most of these people have ever done. These are the ones I'm hoping can find another job, not someone who was cheating to make a big name for themselves and more than likely got two of his employers in trouble. In the end these coaches will be OK, because lets face it there are not a lot of them to chose from.

Times Free Press said he had access to his Southern Miss email account, deleted emails on the day of his first interview with the NCAA. Now they've got him for not cooperating, and looks like he was guilty for the violations. Not saying he was, due to the emails being deleted, but it looks that way.

The character of a man eventually comes through, now we find out he deleted emails about his behavior from the NCAA. Tennessee is lucky to be rid of this guy, believe me.

Wow, dude. You, and others, got mad at me the other day for saying that Martin didn't speak hick, and then respond with this stereotypical response? Unbelievable.

And in regards to Pearl, I don't think he should be hired back. And yes, I do think that Tyndall very much got what he deserved.

Should not have cheated and should not have lost so many games. You are crazy if you think I'm going to feel bad for someone who makes millions from coaching basketball.
