I would take Fulmer any day over Joe Glenn! When you watch us play this Saturday you will see what I mean by bad coaching. We have some talented guys on our roster but our play calling and in game decisions are just mind boggling. We have not developed the talent we have properly.

At least Fulmer could develop talent. All we have in Joe Glenn is an overpaid used car salesman.

There've been a few scattered ramblings about the possibility of something along those lines because of Fulmer having a place in Jackson Hole but it is difficult for me to imagine it happening.

Funny, that's one of the raps on Fulmer.

Hey just wondering, I haven't seen Wyoming play this season but do you guys still run that wild option style offense you used to run?...I remember in 1999 You guys gave us fits with that handing off to the man in motion offense...Was fun to watch.

Fulmer might take a year or two off to spend his buyout money before he returns to coaching but he will surely return for a last gig somewhere like most great coaches do.

Laramie is a long freaking way from Jackson. That's like taking a job in Knoxville because you own property on Hilton Head.

It's an interesting notion, though -- Fulmer recently said that he wanted to coach for "8-10 more years," which is certainly long enough to take on a new challenge if he wants it. After the cauldron of the SEC, I can see how a WAC or similar job might seem like a pleasant way to finish out a career. Depends on whether he rather spend the next decade working, or playing golf and making speeches.

Does he get to keep the buyout regardless of whether he works again?

Didn't we set a record for sacks in that game?

No. When we played UT in '02 Vic Koening(who is the D-cordinator now at Clemson) was the head coach. Now I can say our offense back then was much more productive than what we have now under Glenn.

Now we have about 5 plays. Off tackle right, Off tackle left, throw an incomplete pass, then punt. At least back in the Vic days we would lose 40-45 but now we are lucky to score a touchdown. It's a shame because we have a decent defense. We just keep them on the field ALL game!

Oh and btw, we are in the Mountain West, not the WAC.

Now you know why we are playing you for homecoming.

It will be interesting to see whether UT comes out "hot", or flat. And how long they stay that way.

That will tell us how the players really feel about this coaching staff.

Actions speak louder than words.

Go Vols. Here's hoping you make Fulmer's last three games a memory he can be proud of.

No disrespect, but we play in the SEC and you better have your act togeather. No eight man football in this area.

I really enjoyed meeting several of the Wyoming fans the last time they came to Knoxville. I actually enjoyed watching the Cowboy programs since then. This year has been brutal, but I must admit, I've made a healthy little bit of change from the bookie betting against them.
