Can we do anything new on uni's?

What can be done for new uniforms?
After much thought, is it possible to do anything?
I am sure they have tried over the years and just not alot of options with our colors? what can we do?
I would think Adidas could do something, right?
My pick for an alternate use, maybe just for Florida-
white helmet- block T starting at back, coming up and over top of helmet, with the T spread across front.
Uni- orange and white half split diagonally with numbers alternating color scheme from other side.
Pants- well.... can't do checkered.
All I know is that we have been relatively stagnant on this with minimal changes for the last 20 years.
WHAT CAN WE DO?

Classic uniforms like UT, Bama, etc >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The Oregons of the world.

to each their own (and we've had some interesting uni suggestions), but I wouldn't want anything at all like that. I like the all orange and I'd be game for the retros we opened with a few years ago. No black, no gray, nothing else. Our simplicity is what makes the orange so special. We don't need anything else.

it's now official, the off season has begun......

the uni's are fine. they don't need to be changed. if you want clowned out unis go to the pac 10 or arena league football games.

leave ours alone.

I agree, I like the all orange as well as the retros. We don't need to be as garish as those terrible Oregon unis are. I like our simple style.

no offense, but that sounds horrible. i like our uni's the way they are. to each his own though i guess. welcome to the board btw.

yea youre right. definately no black in football. basketball i think it would be kinda cool to just wear the black unis 2 or 3 games a yr. just to change it up a little bit. in football im kinda partial to the all orange like the wore in the LSU game.

I thought the all orange was pretty cool. It would be good to do every once in a while to mix things up. Other than that I like the colors we use. More traditional for tennessee football.

NOTHING...TRADITION IS WHAT MAKES TENNESSEE FOOTBALL GREAT!!!

We definitely don't need to change our unis like that, the only suggestion I have is maybe with the white jerseys wear orange pants, also change the white face masks to orange

OK, for all you people that liked the all orange look (and I am one of these), would you like to see those same orange pants with our white road jerseys?

absolutely with two white stripes down the side..

I agree. Although I did like the pants we wore in the SECCG with the power T on them, but yes, they need stripes.

Imagine if the Yankees decided to change their jerseys, some things are just better left alone.

One thing is for sure though, you can't go wrong with orange on white, and white on white :)

no. i don't mind the all orange look every blue moon. but i don't see why people want the away jerseys with orange pants look to make a comeback. that's one combination that i never really liked. i think the all white look is much better.
