Can we discuss the other MLB spot next to Henry T?

Banks aint starting.
Pruitt has said Banks shows as high of a ceiling as any linebacker he’s ever coached. Pruitt has seen some of the best to do it so Im not willing to throw out definitives of he will or won’t. With the talent that’s coming in it will be hard sure but banks also isn’t a day one guy. He has an understanding of the defense and has more game experience than Q at the inside spot. There’s legitimate arguments for both sides

It's coming.

And as far as the progression of the defense goes, he's obviously bringing in highly ranked guys. But they're also BIG, quick and physical!

Henry T, Crouch, Harrison, and Joseph all run 4.6 at 235+ pounds...

Then you got Eason who at 270 runs much better than he should. He's a freak like Trey Smith. Trey Smith our OG bends like a TE at 330 lbs. Eason has that same freaky bigman ability.
And then there is Aaron Beasley who is an absolute headhunter who could be factor there.

There is a lot of talent at LB.
French is another dude that would probably start for an Arkansas, UK, most Big 12 schools as a freshman but chose to come here.

Lewis and Willis coming next year...
Man on man! I wouldn't trade this group for any other school's.
Know that for a fact on Beasley? Loving it if so!

I think Henry T and Banks, personally. With Crouch Outside and Peterson/Bennett in the mix for the other OLB.

Crouch is long and fast, he would be explosive outside, imo

Crouch will start, but then will move to the OLB, because Banks is too talented to play spot time only.

Harrison, Joseph and Eason will be your main rotational guys.

Crouch
Banks
To'oto'o
Bennett
Starting 4

Johnson will also play.

But Harrison, Joseph and Eason will be used in many different packages.
I’ll bet you Banks doesn’t start barring injury to others

All depends if Henry T can pick up calling the sets. The defense was insanely better when Bituli was on the field. Having that presence and leadership on the field has a infectious affect on other players.
Losing Bituli and Warrior was big. The light really came on for Warrior.
The defense was better when Bituli was on the field with HT. Too,too will be a beast!

I said Crouch will start initially but then move to the OLB to make room for Banks to get on the field.

Banks is an athlete at 6'1 235 and hits like a hammer and can cover.

Go ahead and give me your money if you want playa 👍

Roman Harrison is more likely to join the starting lineup than Banks IMHO

I love Roman Harrison. I hyped him up bigtime. However there was a learning curve with him, but it started to click at the end of last year. He's probably your 5th LB. And I think we have 8 good LBs right now.

Banks might be THE most talented LB period on the roster...
That's from Pruitt's mouth, not mine.
6'1 235 runs a 4.5. Super agile.
Will play that bandit position hybrid safety/LB.

Bituli was calling him the hardest hitter on the team. Didn't play LB at all in High School. But he's very familiar with the defense now. Henry T is really the only sure fire starter. Needs a running mate, and Crouch wants to play OLB primarily...

Henry T is really the only sure fire starter.
Crouch and Bennett are lock starters also and I suspect Johnson will be the 4th to start in the first game. Harrison is more talented and will continue to play more as he figures things out. They’re going to put the best 4 on the field. Again IMHO
