Can we beat UF next year? 3 definite losses are OU, Bama, and UGA.

This is the point. Where does UF out talent us? Not DB. Not LB. DL -- equal I'd say, OL. -- equal I'd say. WR/TE (slight edge to them because of Pitts?), RB -- us by a landslide, QB -- them by a landslide if their backup returns.

I understand that QB is the most important position on the field, but we should be better on D by significant margin this year. On offense, they get the edge because of the QB situation. But honestly, I watched them play against Miami, US, and Auburn. I wasn't very impressed with their offensive capability, play calling, or discipline.

Bailey will be good. Very good. I expect the QB comparison may be closer than most think.

Maybe, but he's been anointed too quickly around here. Also, our staff has done some good things, however, QB development is not one of them.

I saw JG improve as the year went on this season. But he's just limited. You can teach a kid all you want, but when he processes the action slowly...he is what he is.

There's no such thing as an "definite" win or loss. But the fact that 2019 was a decently competitive matchup means very little. UT came within 2 minutes of beating Bama in 2015, returned a ton of guys in 2016, and took the worst loss in the continuous history of the rivalry.
No, it means a whole lot. It wasnt a fluke this time. We manned up at the lines of scrimmage, hammer.

I think beating Florida is the least likely; UGA is losing a lot and OU is not only losing their QB but also whatever little bit of defensive talent that they had. I'm not saying that we will beat any of them (we could end up 8-4) but to say that OU, UGA, and Bama are guaranteed losses is false.

I wouldn’t put UGA in the sure loss column just yet. Based on recent happenings they will be much different next year and likely not nearly as good.

I'm ever the optimist but I will never make a post 8-9 months before a season telling everyone what games are winnable. Hell they're all winnable until the final whistle blows.

The time for getting blown out is over for Pruitt. Need to show recruits that we can actually compete with the big boys instead of losing by 3-4 TD's in noncompetitive games. Although Bama was competitive because Tua went out but we haven't been close to them since 2015.
GTFO! We can win every game next year. Let this sink in real quick. JG could be a top 2 QB in the SEC next year with Tua and Fromm entering the draft. Only QB in the league next yr I would take over him is Bo Nix at Auburn. Think about the whole league will be QB challenged in 2020.

Agreed. UGA will have a new starting QB, an inexperienced offensive line (only 23 starts and 16 of those were one player), a new OL coach, and they weren't very good offensively last season. We should be able to control the LOS against UGA--more likely to win against UGA than Bama, OU or UF.

Considering half of UGAs line and their starting qb just declared for the draft or is transferring. Just changed things a bit
