Can we beat Miss St next year in Knoxville?

If Vols continue to progress, I see Ms St as win, much like KY and Vandy who either lose qb or a ton of seniors...probably put Miz in that group too. That being said, if you pole fan boards of all the above schools, they’re probably counting us as a W, so none are a slam dunk...especially if JG is drawing up plays on his hand, in lieu of an OC.

Winnable in Knoxville

We don’t have particular home field advantage in Neyland, to say the least. When was the last time ANYBODY feared coming into Knoxville to play on our home field? It’s been a minute.

They probably have a copy of Chaney's playbook lying around in a desk drawer, they could just dust it off and use it. No need to hire him back.

This is my son-in-laws team, UT has to beat them or I have to hear about it...........so, there is more motivation.

Go Vols!

MSU has a solid identity as a smash mouth, physical team. Yes, they lose a lot of good talent from this year's squad, but like others I am skeptical that the Vols can win this one. UT just has a very tall mountain to climb in terms of recruiting, strength and conditioning and player development. I would love to be wrong.
