The short answer is: YES.

The longer answer: Yes, but that is not the only issue. Stability, buyouts, recruiting class, etc.

Nice contract for Urban. Yeah we could match it, but Urban had special ties. Dang Ohio State walked into a good situation on accident. I don't see any Urban Meyer fits for Tennessee right now.

Not a fan of Urban Cryer. I think he will succeed at Ohio State but would struggle if he were back in the SEC at Tenn, Fla or ______.

That's what I've thought...He is fine when he wins...

Another thing, when the story broke that he was going to OSU a week or so ago why did he lie at least twice on ESPN and say he hadn't been offered and he hadn't accepted...Was he just saying that out of respect for Luke Fickell ??...I just don't trust him...

Because the team had a game to play vs. Michigan and it would've been in poor taste to Fickell.

With that said, did anyone buy it? NO! He simply did it out of respect for the game and the coach.

Urban is a funny man

The second part I can understand. The rumor got out when it wasnt suppose to. If he was still negotiating a contract and trying to get his staff together, then I can see why he would deny it. Never know when things change.
