Can trump read

You do realize that's not exactly something unique to Trump, right? If you watched any of the debates from the primaries up through him and Hillary, nobody ever really stuck to topic when answering questions.

Agreed. They hear buzz words and immediately pivot to the rehearsed, tangentially related answer.

And then there's Trump, who pulls a Faulkner-esque stream of consciousness out of his a** each time that is also only tangentially related to the question. It is more entertaining.

At least he doesn't say iummmmm 17,000 times per speech

^ This. It always amazed me that people thought he was such a good speaker. That Iumm stuff was the hallmark of a bad public speaker. I can only assume his loyal subjects were terrible at public speaking themselves.

The nuclear triad answer is, beyond any semblance of a doubt, the worst I have ever seen in a presidential debate.

I invite you to one up that.

I won't argue that it was a horrid answer.

Doesn't change the fact this thread was based on a completely moronic idea.

It is.

However, I wouldn't mind shifting to the discussion of his low intelligence.

His wallet is irrelevant. I've seen plenty of morons make a buck.

I think you'll have a hard time making a case that he's ignorant. He may say stupid things or rather speak his mind, but I don't believe he's of low intelligence.

Watch some older videos of Trump. It is crazy how articulate he sounds then compared to right now.

You can do the same thing with George W. Bush.

The more amazing thing is that I don't think Trump knows how to use a computer. Hillary doesn't either. In one of the linked DNC emails, she emailed a staffer a link and asked them to print it out for her. The link took you to the Washington Post home page.

Seen many of them graduate Wharton?

About that. Interesting take on Trump, Penn and how they're all getting along.

Why Penn Won’t Talk About Donald Trump

He pimps Wharton but then immediately craps on it.

“I went to the Wharton School of Finance,” he said multiple times in a July 11 speech in Phoenix, Ariz. “I’m, like, a really smart person.”

then...

“In my opinion, that [Wharton] degree doesn’t prove very much, but a lot of people I do business with take it very seriously, and it’s considered very prestigious,” Trump wrote.

My favorite...

"I went to an Ivy League school. I’m very highly educated. I know words, I have the best words."

So he says a college education isn't very useful as an entrepreneur?

He's great at reading a teleprompter

And as we all know, he graduated first in his class at Wharton.

He's not as bright as he'd like you to believe.

A lot of executives and managers are not the most technically smart people in their organization. They are the best leaders, managers, and communicators, because that is what the job ultimately entails.

Typically the people right under the executive(s), department heads, VPs, etc., have better technical knowledge of the job than the ultimate bosses.

Also, his graduation from Wharton is evidence of 1) great family connections and 2) he certainly is not an idiot.
