We've all been waiting for the guy who's going to bring us back to relevance. I humbly suggest, we've found him. Butch understands who we are, he connects with and cares about his players, he looks like, walks like, and talks like a football coach. This is our guy. He's not going to make the right call every time or win every game, but by God, he's going to give his all for Tennessee and I for one am all in. We have turned the proverbial corner and I say we stop worrying about whether he does or doesn't get it and start talking about the good things yet to come. Who's with me?

I am going to enjoy the victory with the knowledge that CBJ and staff are clearly qualified and prepared to compete in the SEC. However, 5 of the next 6 opponents looked pretty darn good as we'll today so continued improvement and effort over the last half will be the key.

South Carolina looked pretty good last week as well.

It would have been even better if the VOLS had beat UGA and they would be in great shape. they must play bama well and I know ayuburn and missoure may be ranked but UT needs wins against everyone left after next week and it ould make my year to see the Vols beat bama.

To answer you honestly? Yes.

Oregon throttled us, barely beat South Alabama, couldn't beat an overrated and severely injured UGA and barely beat a severely overrated USCe team.

Do I think we should doubt? Nah. But you can always doubt from a certain point of view.

Everything you say is true, but my point is sooner or later you have to ride the horse you have ...and I think Butch is a good one.
