Can the fanbase be legitimately downcast right now?

This was one of those situations where the fanbase just couldn't understand how we were outclassed by KY and yes, it does cause the fanbase to be down in the dumps.

If we would have lost to GA by a touchdown or so, then that pain would not have been as bad. Wouldn't have liked it, but we would have seen the effort.

We just opened the door and let the KY go run wild. We were actually beat. You can lose a game and then you can be beat. GA State beat us last year. They outplayed us the whole game. BYU beat us or rather we beat ourselves. We had it to win or lose.

Don't know about others, but I was so hoping the 2nd half would show a different team. I looked at how well GA responded after halftime and thought for sure we learned a lesson and would mimic them for the KY game. It went from scary to dreadful.

In keeping with the Halloween theme, it was The Kentucky Buzzsaw Massacre.

We pulled out the shovel and dug our own grave. Not 6 ft but 34 ft.

I feel your pain, bro. But the healthiest thing in life you or anybody could do is simply make UT sports an interesting hobby or interest. Expand, and be happy when they win and say 'oh well' when they lose. Believe me,you'll have a happier life. This is not your life. Many, many more important things than this, believe me.

I think people see America being controlled by big tech sensorship and they are scared. We were downcast before the UK loss.

Thank you for putting these things in perspective.

The main reason fans are pissed off is, everyone is clearly not pulling in the same direction. Everyone has to be for UT to get back to being an elite program again. We all were fooled and thought the culture was fixed under Pruitt, but that just turned out to be lies. You got a guy like Henry T saying he's the only linebacker in the film room watching, you're firing a coach after 4 games....and you're team quit after being down 17 points to Kentucky. Lmao. If they dont quit there, we would come back and win every single time....BECAUSE ITS FREAKING KENTUCKY!!!

College football was the first thing I had since April that I could look forward to being “normal”. A chance to focus on something outside the four walls of lockdown lair. (I refuse to watch the pampered Preachy pros anymore).
so yeah, this is double downcast. It was a chance to feel like part of something bigger. The Vol family reunion. This makes the past two weeks an even bigger kick in the privates to me at least.
