Will an in state pro team help out a college football program? For instance, will players or coaches from the Titans give advise to UT players ? I was not sure if it is legal or ethical for them to do so. Mabey UT should give the Titans advice.:p

I remember reading where the Vol Coaches went and met with the Titan Coaches. I think they were studying uses of the TE and I believe that was before Coach Cut came back.

Yeah, the Titans take it one step further, hosting state high school coaches every year. The NFL does a good job being good citizens in their respective communities...

as college teams are basically farm teams for NFL teams youd think that in state Pro teams would be more involved in the processes. Im bettin their is an ethics issue here or you see it more prevelently and talked up on tv and websites.

i would argue the boys as Texas... New Orleans falls in the same trap. Really even before the tragedy last year, how many people cared about Tulane? La. college football is all about Baton Rouge. You do have a slight case w/ Hotlanta because of Tech though.

ummm, Miami.

Also, remember media markets are based on the average population income and not the true population size of the market. It's all about the $$$.

For all intents and purposes, Athens is part of the Atlanta market.
