I'm pretty sure i'm free Saturday. I'm waiting on my phone call Butch. Me or Peterman, your choice.

I sure hope so. There is a very good chance Worley gets hurt a some point considering the hits he has and will continue to take.

Playing Peterman in a game like this is smart imo. Go Vols!!
Just a less experienced version of Justin Worley, imo!

As if Peterman would be the starter if Worley went down.... Worley obviously needs all the work he can get. Let him play, let him have a blow out win if he can. It's his seniour season and lord knows he needs the work behind this offensive line..

Has anyone noticed that Peterman receives the snap and then flips the ball in his hands to get his grip? Don't see most QB's doing this. Is this nervousness or on the center?

Not knocking the kid but seems like this takes more time. Like a hitch in your swing.

I'd let Worley get the game to a comfortable lead. Hurd and Lane would get 2-3 series then I would put in Young and Pickett. I'd let Peterman have 2-3 quarters to play with the first string OL, TE and WR. The OL needs the work. The WR and TE need the practice running routes and catching the ball.

I think the O needs the practice and can maybe work on some plays that they think they can use down the road. And definitely don't take the start away from Worley in his senior year. He needs to stay sharp. I say play the starters at least into halftime.

I say put Peterman in at half time or after we go up 2 scores, whichever comes first. I guarantee he will be needed at some point in the season.

Sit all 1st string except the O-Line. According to all the posters, they're young and inexperienced and that is why we are losing. So rest/protect the performing players and get the non-performing players more experience. A win-win.

Worley does it as well.

Backup QBs should get a chance to play. Having said that, this team has proven me wrong so many times. So, who the hell knows anymore.

John Adams says in today's column in the KNS that he would let Worley take this week off and play Peterman.

Would love to see all the backups who will not be redshirted get plenty of game reps not just for this year but also for future seasons.

That said, F*** John Adams.

I've never seen a QB half as bad as Peterman. I can't believe he's somehow the 2nd string. Next year's QBs can't get her soon enough.

How can he redshirt if he started like 5 games last year?

He will redshirt this year not last year. He hasn't played this year yet, and can red shirt if he doesn't play the entire season.

In case you are confused - red shirts are not limited to the freshman year.

Sit all the QB's and run Hurd in the wildcat the whole game.....in the 2nd half put AJ in to run the wildcat package....

I would think you could get some time against UTC. Do you have any eligibility left? My grandmother is practicing the zone read in case she gets a few snaps (even though Butch says we don't run it)
