Can new staff guys like Kevin Simon, Montario, etc. be on sidelines during games?

If so, I'd chase down Al Wilson faster than Eric Berry and offer him some sort of position. ANY sort of position he would take. Would be huge to have these guys inspiring the young'ns during games.

While I'm certainly not opposed to Al Wilson being involved with the program in some capacity, does he have his degree? I'm not sure if he would be hired if he doesn't have it.

Glad to see so many VFLs coming back & willing to work their way up the coaching, etc ladder.

If they are not a part of the main staff, they can be on the sidelines. Just not during games. That is where the coaches roam. Not the support staff. If they later get promoted to an actual position coach or coordinator, then they get to be there. Not until.

You are trying to put too many chefs in the kitchen.

Don't think Wilson ever got his degree so he wouldn't be an option. Peerless on the other hand.

Correct, but why would you be on the sideline If there were no game being played I just call it practice. :p I'm JK.

And yes, too many coaches in your ear is not helpful.

My question. Can they (support staff) be in the booth during a game?

I am not sure about the booth. I have seen TV shots of it, but have never guessed who everyone I was looking at in a 8 second shot. I don't know anyone with seats in the upper deck that might know who all is up there. The coaches may be above the first level of the press box, so those fans might not be able to see them.

But now that I think about it, I seem to remember Antone Davis as VFL coordinator escorting one of our guys who got tossed (it was either Darrell Taylor or somebody who got a targeting call) to the locker room on TV last year. So, while these support guys might not be on the sideline as coaches per se, I am sure they are somewhere close by. I mean seriously, if I worked for the team, I am going to be at the games.
